Steve, The problem back then was finding one. I looked for 6 months before finding this one (first I looked at). I rang dealers nationwide and only 2 came up. Iain, I'm the same as you (to a very small extent), it doesn't matter how much it costs, it's all worth it when you drive your Z and you still get that smile. I know you know what I mean :) Vijay

you can buy contact clean (spray can) http://www.maplin.co.uk/products/module.asp?CartID=10968905&moduleno=4153 from Maplins etc. You want to make sure the contacts are clean and bright :) Vijay

Hi, That's generally caused by unburnt fuel igniting within your cats. Make sure the PTU and coilpack connections are clean. Vijay

My mate owns one and he's had nothing but trouble with it. The parts are crazily priced and finding somewhere to work on them has proven a nightmare for him. Personally I would never sway my Z for an NSX.

Hi Darren, I just wanted to say the fact that you've posted your thoughts on this garage would suggest you need to find another mechanic. You really need to have trust in your mechanic with a Z as most garages (including Nissan) don't have a clue with these cars. I'm sure somone on here should be able to post details of a good mechanic near you. Good luck, Vijay
