Hi there mate, I would get it aligned at least. Dunno what BMW forum your on but I'm on BMWForums.info, really good site and plenty of E46 owners that will help you out. Has a much better feel about it than bimmerforums

I've got a set of PACE smic's. They fit straight onto the standard pipes and the bumper fits with no mods. All lights are fitted too. They will be for sale very soon.

Driving to Germany
I lived in Germany for over 3 years mate, you will need the following by law. Hi viz jackets Warning triangle First aid kit Fire extinguisher Bulbs All vehicle documents including your green card (insurance) Cash (plod do on the spot fines) In reality I never carried any of it as I hate things being in the car that ain't where they're supposed to be and I never got pulled, when I crashed the 350Z they didn't check if I had any of it so it's up to you if you take it. If you don't and get caught its £40 per item missing as a on the spot fine.

My smokey car.....again!
Yep as Alanz said mate. Jimmer changed the turbos, manifolds and downpipes as well as fitting de-cats. Gave the engine a bit of a once over and all the smoke stopped. Good luck with yours mate.
