  1. Can anybody tell me if you can fit a thermostatic sandwich plate on a stainless top rad hose?.......if so any pics :dance:

  7. Dont know if yours is the same but i found my copper temp probe jammed down the side of a rad hose:shock: and was making the car slowley leak coolant
  8. Just remebered mine is a kenlowe fan controller....very crude design but it did the job until it broke:rofl:

I am but im not sure what brand as it was all fitted before i purchased the zed, and a thermostatic fan controller which has just broke:( ........so im looking into getting something a bit more accurate and reliable, but other than that it worked well, if the temp creeped up the fan would switch on and i could watch the temp gauge fall slowly

  11. Has anybody got an electric fan fitted to there zed? if so is it thermostatic and what type and wheres the best place to buy them? Only reason i ask is because my switch has just stopped working and i want to upgrade it to something with a better design as i found out today mine is a thermostatic type with a copper sensor (cant remember what brand) it was jammed in a rad hose and also leaks coolant slightly but it did the job up until now:rofl:

  13. Elephant is the way forward! im 22 with my mum on the policy and i pay around 800 i think fully comp! thats minimum mileage tho!
  14. ok murt came round mine to show me how to work my conzult and we did a power balance test... A.what exactly does this measure? B.What does it mean by drop in rpm? C.Certain cylinders highlited red and others green? D.When tested a second time the results were different,how accurate can this be? Any help much appreciated:confused:

  19. Aftermarket gauge taken from the top radiator hose. how do i test if ive done a head gasket in?

I took the 300 out the weekend for a blast up the ring road and on my way home i noticed the temp gauge creeping up and the fan didnt come in at all.So by the time i pulled over to let her cool down the temp had reached 110 and i started to get a bit worried! How much damage if any do you think i could have done? thanks james
  21. Im pretty sure the wheels are the same size front and rear, if its gonna rub the arch or flare out a lot without rolling the arch then i may just stick with what i got!
