  1. I once saw a Nissan Pulsar with a poster in the rear window which read 'running in new 400bhp engine, please pass..... while you still can' ...
  2. I had a turbo auto, paid £500 for it at blackbushe auctions, it was the car that got me into jap motors.... :thumbup1:
  3. Alfa Romeo Montreal...
  4. Not sure what size you need, but if this fits then it's a real bargain.. http://www.merlincycles.com/bike-shop/bikes/mountain-bikes/merida-mountain-bikes/merida-matts-pro-d-bike-2011-model-18-only.html i'm a 32" inside leg, about 5'8", thats the size i would go for if that helps..
  5. Both entry level hardtails mate, very similar spec's, both warrant the frames for life, 9speed, hydraulic brakes, 34t cassette etc. I'd go for the Cannondale, looks better and not as common, specializeds are the 'subaru imprezza of the mountainbike world'.. lol. The cycle to work deal is nowhere near as good as it used to be, be better off getting 0% on sale bike from last year tbh.
  6. You really need to drive them both mate, like chalk & cheese. I heard a few people got killed in mr2's, rev1's i think, they revised the suspension geometry for the rev2 onwards to make them a bit more predictable, still got nicknamed the 'widowmaker' though, there's a vid on youtube of a bloke shutting off halfway round a bend and ending up spinning off the track, think it was at the nurburgring.
  7. i went form a z to a supra to an mr2 turbo, was a rev2 and i had it for 5yrs, all it needed was a clutch in all that time, great little car, like a go-kart with a roof. was reasonably modded with a blitz ecu, greddy intercooler, cold plugs, hks induction, 12psi boost (9 is stock), felt really fast, i would bottle out at 130mph as the front end gets light..!
  8. Lol, i remember the old'ish days, anyone have a copy of the photoshopped bee gees pic with vinz & ryan...lmao:thumbup1:
  9. Very nice, quite a rare beast. Heres some pics of my two steeds.... Sunn Prim S1 Trek Fuel EX 9.9
  10. Not sure what your budget is bud, but have a look on here... http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/
  11. As above, clean the egr valve/throttle body etc. Also, whats the temp gauge reading? A duff thermostat would give bad mpg & black smoke, not to mention gack up the egr valve.
  12. Can recommend an mr2 turbo, had mine for 5yrs, never let me down once, fantastic little car. Would get a good one for £2k, go for a rev3 if you get one.
  13. What he said ^^^^^^^
  14. Nice, the 2nd one reminds me of an audi r8, but better...lol
  15. Signed, and put on facebook...:thumbup1:
  16. Got a 70's disco funk thing going on at the moment, some quality bass lines..! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPc9_jhLMjs
  17. Terrible news... RIP Whitney.
  18. Another sad one here.. Such a shame...
  19. Thinking of getting a Celica (mid 90's shape), but know feck all about them. Anything i should be looking for? I'm leaning towards the 1.8 st as it has much better mpg than the 2.0, but is obviously less powerful. Will be a daily driver so reliability & mpg is important. Thanks in advance...
  20. Some lovely motors there, very nostalgic... Love the '77 Granada Coupe....
  21. Reading 'it's not about the bike' by Lance Armstrong, very good book.
