  2. Andrew I got the kit this morning anf it will be on the car this afternoon. Thank you verymuch for forwarding it to me and so promtly.   What do I owe you for the postage?
  3. Where were you then. I wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for the prompt way you dispatched stuff of for me. This was my first Billing and Though I had a very good time I thought not enough atmosphere in the evening by the club tent and only "Hermy" Mike, Adam R and myself ventured to the bar. So how about a few lights a sound system and not loud just background amd maybe a rew more tables. The rest of the Ideas Mark has put forward are sound. Especially the notice and meeting boards. Name badges for people as well as cars, because we all have different tastes and that way we can be diplomatic to owners of cars we think are crap. I'm sure I told someone that I thought a certain car was hideous (and it is sorry mate) only to find out later that it was his car. :mac1: :nelson: Hey a really good weekend so if its even better next year you'd better be careful or we'll expect a laser show as well the year after.
  4. Here, Here, and thank god for people like John because all those readouts just send me to sleep I just don't think i could ever stay awake long enough to learn this stuff. Then I've have to put up with a stock Z. Rock on Johnny
  5. They are £155 Now from http://www.zcentre.co.uk and I meant a full kit.I'd say it will cost you about £300 to get em fitted. always wise to have a good look at your brake lines behind the diff whilst its off and get em changed if needed. I've lowered mine so I've gone for SLP front ajustable camber and tie bar kit. If you've read any billing posts you'll know I bought a Whiteline rear camber ajustment kit and left it in the Club tent. Strut braces also help make the car feel solid and more positive. I've spent about £1350 on shocks, springs, bushes, tie bars, ajustable camber kits and struts braces. + Too much on Big Brembo discs and calippers all round but its easy to spend a lot more than me. you have to be clear in you own mind what you want from your car. Then find the best way to achieve it to suit your wallet. If you have time to do a lot yourself you'll save a packet, but I run my own company and have three demanding kids that always need me to sort things or take em some place or another, but shopping around and asking on here will get you some good buys.
  6. Including buying the car, I've spent well over £20,000 on my car. All I'll have to do before Billing next year is a wide arse and complete retrim. Engine specs similar to Chris C's so I'm expecting about 370+ RWHP but even 360 will be OK
  7. My lad sumed it up at the weekend. Having walk round all the stands and club pitches he just said, "the 300ZX is just much classier looking than all the other performance Jap Iron". The boy knows what he's talking about.
  8. Nuff said :D smiles knowingly. Hey I didn't get to speak to you this weekend. I think? Or, did I?
  9. Phew!! Thanks very much. You have PM
  10. Hi MAC I was going to be a fashion model once, but aparently you have to be good looking. That was the end of my carear plans, but I heard that wearing one of these gets you addmitted to all the best establishments. So I'd better edge my bets and that of the family. I'll have a large, a medium, and 2 smalls. My wife might know something I don't because she wants a Toyota TDR shirt
  11. I thought you said they'd gone to Sydney not with Sydney.
  12. When I met ny wife I used to have notor bikes and she said she loved my bikes. That was before the Wedding cake. MMMMMMM call me a sceptic if you will but once the first sprog comes along and they think they have you. You suddenly realize what they really think. :nono: :nono:  :mac1:
  13. you might also need a full bush kit as well. (About £150 from Luke at the Z centre) You would not believe the difference. It suddenly becomes a fairly nimble sportscar.
  14. Does anyone really know? Comon chaps I want to be the first to have a Lambo doored no engininged, Still in the Garage and will it ever come out Motor. Or has someone beeten me.
  15. Who The Hell Won????
  16. Who won best car etc
  17. Thanks Mike I put them down to have a smell at Dave C's engine then got talking etc. Dowp :mac1: P.S. he thought he could smell fuel, its not a fettish of mine. Though my wife says I'm a petrol head.
  18. Did you notice that rather large scare down the centre of my head. Well it took them a week to remove the axe which my good lady gave me as a token of her appreciation when I first brought the Z home. :slap:
  19. Hey really nice pic of my C70 T5R :D I was hoping to win best modified Z with it , but someone rumbled the deception :mac1:
  20. I was there but the pile of boxes and bits that will be my Z's reincarnation were just that. A PILE OF BITS AND BOXES so it was Balistic brick the boy wonder and me, but I intend to be at Silverstone in the Z.
  21. Hi Chaps and Chapesess. Has anyone picked up a Whiteline rear camber ajustment kit I left in the 300zx tent on the table near the T shirts. Please give me a shout and I'll pay for the postage. Thanks P.S twas a jolly frollick of a weekend, hey what :duffer: :duffer:
  22. Was a UK auto but now Manwell with lots of very expensive bits that should make it go fast. MMMMMMMMM we'll see
  23. HICAS creates a sense that the back end is slightly stepping out. So when it actually is stepping out its already on its way before you realise Thus giving you less time to correct it and having more to correct because you carn't be sure until it has. Make any sense? In a nut shell car feels more responsive and you have more actual control. Cornering is positive and not woolly anymore.
  24. Hey Chaps Do as I do and record only programs you want to watch. Then maybe one night you have a ggod nights telly. The rest of the week GET A LIFE. :mac1:
