So over the years I have looked at many different religions and think the Sikh religion if you have to have one is the only fully inclusive religion out there.

Well just remember when you've spent many thousands of pounds and got a reasonable powered, but now unreliable car that I told you so. + If you are going to throw the purest hand of the V6 is part of what make it a Z. Then you could also argue that by uping the power you are changing the charactor of the car and therefore it is no longer a proper Z. Save yourself the financial and physical pain and get a V8 kit. You know it makes sense.

For £3.5 you can get a small block ford V8 + ECU and engine management harness shipped over from the states with new engine mounts. for a further sum they'll supply you with the new down pipes and centre section. These lumps can be chipped to produce 460 + bhp without any engine mods, but you have to have your front springs reduced by 11mm because the ford V8 is smaller and lighter. + J D's Nissan (now 5ltr) V8 convertion will have cost even less and he's talking 500 ish BHP. TT upgrades are just too expensive for the returns. I 'll be going Ford V8 nest time.

Thats really good for an N/A as standard TT is about 230 rwhp. i'm impressed though I'm waitng to see what J D's 5ltr N/A V8 dynos at as I think that is the real way forward for Z ownership. P.S. A nice Z is a nice Z, be it N/A or TT. Remember TT may have a bit more gain, but it certainly has more pain.

I can imagine what some of them are like, because 6 and 1/2 years ago when I bought my Z (were talking dealers looking at £17k in some cases and the going rate was about £9.5K to £15K) nearly all of them were dogs. I looked at 12 cars in all and most were really rough. The one I bought was the my second choice though the milage and condition were about the same (A1) the other was manual mine was auto so had to be converted. Remember then there wasn't that many imports in the UK and only about 1500 cars in the whole of the UK so I had to travel a lot to see sheds, but it was worth it in the end.

Only serious race I've had in the Zed was with a Yamaha R1 on the A**1 ( private race way) It screamed past me on the straight,but I had him on the twisty's and so we continued for about 10 miles. Even though I'd entre the staight at much higher speeds and some clear air. + reaching speeds of up to 150mph he'd still nail me then I'd catch him up on the next twisty's and bag him. Gave each other the big thumbs up and really enjoyed it. Cars seem to be boring because the drives don't ever commit to bends and on the staight when the Z's on song it's more than a match for most things, Though I'd wee all over any Z in a Noble no probs.

How long before we see the completed artical + have you establish your objectives or is this just a monster sliding out of control. i gave up all thought controling my project because its too far out of control now. He was in his new Pontiac on the snake pass and he was waring his seat belt but it wasn't clipped into the pod correctly, proberbly due to him being out of his face. He lost control of the car and crashed through a dry stone wall and across the field. Where the front of the car dug in and fired him through the screan, because the belt wasn't in the pod it tore his arm off. I was present went they removed the car from the field. The moral of the story is if he hadn't been out of town (so to speek ) and fastened his belt properly, he'd still have 2 arms. Oh and by the way my belts are still spot on.
