As above and if you can tell me the wire colours. My car was converted from Auto to manual and never been able to get reverse lights because the alternator loom was never changed. Was messing around trying to to get reverse lights and now I think the car thinks its in gear. How do I tell it its not? Help please

I knew I should have kept my gob shut. Eventually got car running spot on at the week end. A firm call Camco sorted my ECU problem well I think they did. This morning car running sweet and clocked up about 20 miles. Think, Ah well I'd better start and tidy her up inside . You know pop ECU back in bracket and bolt down and srick a couple of the pannel back. As soon as I moved the ECU I have no starter motor and no fooking car. Have tried every thing I can think of and it seem to be a relay behind fuse box in driver foot well . Anyone shed any light on this please.

Here where are all the paint shop wallers when a importent question is asked. If you get it wrong it'll nag you to death. Come on some one and do apaint shop so the lad can see before he makes a mistake

Justin this is a common place for UK cars to rot. Even had this piece cut out of mine when resprayed. Luke at Z centre does repair arches for just this problem

I'd also try Chris at GetGReedy or Courtesy Nissan in the states for the ajustable front camber arms. Then see who's got the best deal. Your car will handle better than new then. How did I do that :confused: :confused: :confused:

I'd go for the Koni Street pro shocks. They are a better quality ajustable than the KYB's and only a few quid more. If your really serious though then go for a Tien coil over set up, They will cost serious money though. I've heard good things about the new whiteline coil over kits. These are about £600 for a high quality ajustable coil over set up, but i've no experience with them.

Well thats not too bad then, but I've been told buy a few guys og the Celica club and a couple from here that there was sod all in the way of bars, food out lets, supermarket, shops, fairs Jet bikes etc and generally not as good a venue as billing. Which when you have family to concider you have to make sure you can entertain feed and wash em. So far every one has said the bogs were a disgrace and showers even worse or none existent. Did you go? Did you think it was as good as billing.

What do they look like or do have to have been there. From what I've heard the venue was pretty poor in comparision to Billing.+ £10 per day per person insted of £15 per car per weekend :shock: I think some presure has to be applied to get it returned to billing. Seems a lot of people are making it clear on the JAE website.

There is no cheep jobs on these cars. If you get it cowboyed it'll cost you a fortune. If you have someone like C&S woods etc do the work it'll cost a bit more but you endup witha reliable performance car.

API only sell reconditioned and part conditioned Zed engines now as they cannot get hold of low milage Z engines any more. Part conditioned means new pistons and rings, crank alinment checked, big and small end bearings all for £1400 + if you provide them with the forged pistons, cams etc they'll build it for you. They did mine fore me and give me a 12 month warrenty providing I insalled a new cam belts, water and oil pumps. Which you'd do anyway if the engine is out. So £2500 for an API 300 lump fitted is a bloody good price mate.
