Do Manual boxes need a pump for the cooler?
What pumps both or the same type. cos I gather that much from the diagram, but how could it be the same one?

Rose jointed tension rods
Just noticed your only about 10 miles from me. With a name like Celt1 I always think Jockser land for some strange reason, even though my wife is Irish and constantly telling me that my youngest 2 kids are Celts because they're Welsh :headvswal :headvswal

Do Manual boxes need a pump for the cooler?
Ok Paul Did the UK Auto (which is what my car started life as) have a pump for the oil cooler in the rad? If so could I use that (provided its still their) to run my cooler for my manual box.

Rose jointed tension rods
They look like they've been made with pish poor white metal instead of High tensile steel. You want the Nismo approved one's sold by courtesy Nissan in Texas with the anodized green ajustment bar, but make sure they arn't put on by a muppet. http://www.courtesy-nissan.com

Newby with a problem
Is your Alarm a Clifford by any chance? A clifford will trick the ECU and you will have to reset it by removung both battery terminals for about half an hour. This will work sometimes. If it is a clifford or Avant (which is French for cliford) Save yourself a lot of heart ache and get it removed. Toads the way to go. I've just had several months of not start and constant imobiliser problems with a clifford. They tend to T into the main ignition feed just by the main fuse box next to the Servo on the bulkhead. If its a 7 point system you'll find they only imobilise it with three points. Is your car an Auto? if so they sometimes use the relay for the ingear imobiliser. thats found in the fuse box in the footwell and they will often use the fuel pump which is found under the rear N/S wheel arch cover in the boot. If it's not a clifford then I have no idea beyond what has already been said.

Over fueling all 6 pots but O/S bank seem worst.
EEEEERRRRMM Well I'd crossed over the plug on the O/S O2 sensor and the emissions controler plug :o  So the ECU was seeing no fuel in the mixture a telling the pump to pump for Britain. Took J D about 10 min's to sus. The he reset my throttle possition switch and A presto every thing was reading spot on.

Do you tell your mates / colleagues you post on this forum?
My Missis Thinks there must be a lot of young women in the 300ZX.co.uk club. Her view is that no one can be so interested in a goddam car. According to her people only go on web sights looking for sex. What am I doing wrong? She saw Trinys Sig and i'm not going to say what she said.

Garages and shoddy workmanship
Was only held on by three now knackered Threads, because it had been wound on too far on opposite end. I was fare bobbing on, hit the break for the bend and clunk. It just pulled the rosed end clean out off the tie rod. You could hear the tyre rubbing the front of my side skirt and the back of my wheel arch as the wheel no longer attached to chasis shot a good 2 inch back, only the front of my side skirt stopping it going any further back and fortunatly the guy coming the other way was a good driver. He said he could see something must have broke the way i just shot onto his side of the road. He quickly crossed over to my side and past in the opposite dirrection. He came back to see if he could help. I wished I'd got his name and number. One pair of pants for the bin.

A story of woe.
Why is this an all too familiar story on this board. The bodyshop I use are really good and have done work on sevral of my cars + customers vehicles if my lads damage em. Wrexhams a long way from London though.

my new woman
Good luck mate I hope all works out fine. If you do go for the big licence make sure you have it on 7 year review. cos we can all pass the test for that one but once you loose control of the vehicle its nye on impossible to get it back on the road. :slap:

Garages and shoddy workmanship
I understand this very much. You spend thousands of pounds on your car intending to improve it. Only to get ripped off and have it wrecked by people who claim to know what they are doing. They promise 2 weeks and take 7 months, They claim they haven't damaged your pristine new from the paint shop bodywork and don't want to pay. They do nothing to replace parts that have gone missing from your car whilst in their care even though you have informed them that you whish them returned on more than one occation and over a period of nine months. Shit they even sit on the end of the phone and say you know I'm a straight Guy. Well straight Guy if your reading this lets ask yourself what you'd think if someone came and took items off you car without permition or intent to return? I think nine months is plenty of time to decide intent. I never made you wait more thank two days when you wanted paying. If they damaged your new paintwork which in total you spent the best part of £3000 having done. Would you think that acceptable of an establishment charging £40+ for its professional services and wouldn't you expect them to make good what they have done. Then when a requests for payment of goods or the return of his goods is made by a supplier, because he hasn't been paid for months and because he's not happy at what he's been hearing. You think it is correct to bandy my name around as a sorse of bad rumour. I assure you staight guy the bad romours of which there are now many are all of your own doing. So Straight Guy prove me wrong and get my complaints sorted next week and I'll happiy tell anyone who asks me about you what you did to put things write. If you don't then I'll happily tell anyone on this board and the skyline board just what I've experienced, Because that is the point of a club. To help each other to keep these cars on the road and keep them there as cost effectively as possible. As I said you'll be getting a formal letter this week and a time period to respond. After which I'll start responding to P.M.s if I get any with my views. Oh yes and by the way this happened last light, buy luck more than skill and judgement I'm still alive and the car hasn't sustained too much damage. See Photos. Do you always only put three threads in one end and wind it full on the other as you've done with both side on my car. Because the threads tend to come off under breaking at high speed if they are'nt wound in enough. So thats a new skirt iner wheel arch and SPL tie bar to add to the list mate. P.S. I won't ask for the cleaning bill though a full RAC safety check might be warrented. hope to hear from you soon Thanks

Whats wrong with me?
I think you'll find that Adam R sold his z because he spent more than he could aford to live with. I think he would have loved to keep it, but the cost impinged on his quality of life too much. You just get fed up with the amount of Twats that claim to be 300ZX experts.

Hicas eliminators
