  1. any chance of a wednesday or thursday as i work from14.00 till 01.00 every othere day of the week and i'm determind to get to a meet
  2. ok new problem nosie from gearbox press clutch it go's away don't think it the thrust bearing poss friction plate or presure plate if one or more has gone would this be likely to be the problem and not the syncro's also anyware in bristol to get clutch fitted as i now live on a hill and don't fancy doing it in the road all help advice welcome also what clutch is recomended how much and where from cheers

  6. i don't think it is as when not pushing the car it changes fine i was thinking mabe fluid or the presure plate but don't know was just wondering if anyone has had similar problems
  7. hi there i have a problem with my clutch if you drive normaly its fine but when you give it some welly and change gear above 4000 RPM it crunches has anyone else had this problem could it be a easy fix such as fluid change or new clutch?? thanks in advance for any help mark:confused:

  11. most likly worn shocks have you tried pushing down on the wing a couple of times and seeing if it continues to bounce after you stop pushing

  13. if you have a touch up pen or any paint the same coulor just run it around the inside of the hole to stop any rust if you use thoses firtree clips i'd be tempted to put a little mastic on theam then push them in to make it water thight
  14. are there any ridges on your disk near the middle or by the outer edge

  17. you can also try filling the corners off on the front and back of the pads at about 40 degres

  19. hi again a turbo thingy (for got in the last five mins)i will look in a min but after hearing it may be a bad ideal i thought about boost jets as i borrowed some 1.2mm mig tips from the workshop i found an installation guide on here and when't to look at the car know i'm clue less on my car the right hand side was as in pics on the guide under the more central intake pipe there was the pipe the pressure line to the wastegate but on the left hand side there was a sort bit of pipe with a bung in it so now i am stumbed is it common to join these pipes eles were and run both wastegate off one side????
  20. when i had an agreed value police on my lotus sunbeam they required photo's servic history ect then sent around a valuer who knew nothing about the car as he normaly did motor bikes but that helped me add value my point is when it came to claiming i had the same problem but i had the photo's they had stamped and sent back to me so they could not ague the fact because it had there stamp on the back of the photo's do you have any photo's they have sent back to you
