the noise only starts when the engine gets warm as when i got the car of the low loader there was no noise and drove it into my drive and you would not know there was a proplem but after about 5 mins on tickover when you rev the engine the noise comes back but the noise gets louder when you drive it. also there may be a oil leake as there is some smoke when it gets hot from back of the engine ?# this may be down to my rocker gasget ?as i think its leaking BUT its got worse since the noise started are the to linked oil leake and tapping noise. :cry: will a consalt find out if Knock sensor has gone ???

if my car has detonation will it make a noise all the time when you put you foot down ??? or is it somthing else whats making the noise??? :cry:

sorry lads cant make it as my car broke down on the a1 today :cry: iam still up in hartlypool for the weekend if anyone wants to pop round for a :duffer: as iam at a mates place. zed at home so came back up in my work van :(

need help just on my way to newcastle today and got a nasty noise from the enigine what sounds like it detonation? its now running rich with sooty black smoke i stoped the car and got rac to take me home straight away the noise is all the time even on tick over but its worse when hot as when the car is cold its not that loud the revs have gone up to 1.5 this happend when i was in a traffic que on the a1 today not a noise until this time as i pulled away from the que there is no air leaks? well the rac man could not find any what could this be? if detting how do i fix? help please

p.s. i havent done the blue leather yet so the car can still have any paint but i dont want a full paint change as the engine bay wants to stay black to much for a engine out paint change.

right guys my car goes of to the bodyshop in a months time and having my bodykit finnished off and all the extras fitted i bought over the months what iam looking for is somone with photoshop for paint help what i was going to do is the car is black and the leather is going to be black and blue so i was going to put a blue metal flakes in the paint the flakes are from house of colur and change in the sun and shine lots of difrent blues can some of you who have photoshop come up with some ofther paint job for ideas as iam looking for a mad show car look its got a veilside kit and on chrome 18" wheels i like the look of 2 tone paint jobs aswell cheers guys

it sounds like theres to much in the box! i think we put in 5L as recomended but the box was empty BUT there could of been a 1L still in? hidding i will try and take some out and see what happens

just check the car the drip is coming stright down where the exhaust pipe splits into the V. IF THIS IS ANY HELP went buy the book on the amout to fill what is the right amount to fill a auto box from empty

the bottom of the engine is dry no oil anywhere the oil starts from the back of the auto box but where i havent got a clue the only thing i could think of is when we refiled with oil after cleaning the auto box out is that we over filled and when i put my foot down it presuring up and chucking out a oli breather? or over flow pipe ??

ive got a oil leak from my auto gear box and it drips onto the exhast when ive got the car hot and been driving for 30 mins. it only drips when you put your foot down not round town had the car on the ramps today at the garage and we are stumped the box is oil free no leaks from the seals but oil all under the car on the floor pan. you can see it dripping from the gearbox area when it goes but thats when iam on the road and not on the ramps in the garage :confused: is there a over flow pipe? the only thing done to the box the filter was cleaned any ideas as ive run out of them and iam geting sick of smoke coming out the back as if the turbos have gone. p.s. turbos are fine!

ive just bought the rear lights for e-bay i will post some pics up for you when they come they come as a full unit ready to bolt in and the lights are from a diablo

IVE GOT A SET OF THESE LIGHTS AND THE REAR BUMPER. they come as a hole unit the lights are ready and primed to bolt and paint easy! the bumper wasent a bottom pice it comes as a full bumper and ready to bolt on nice bit of kit this is a new guy started he has taken over the bussines from a friend who was already selling and making these parts ive got tel number for him paul 01253500520

ive had the same kit fitted but instead of parts missing i had to many ??? in the box came a chrome heat sheild and adapter kit for a non turbo air filter??? oh well i sold them and got some cash back. what do you rekon to the sound of the apexi ?? i love mine :hyper:
