how long would you say it takes to remove Yaseen?

2 things here - sorry lads but Im rushing to get it sorted for MOT. Times running out fast and I need car on road ASAP. 1. Jacking - Car has been lowered - from the back I can just get a trolley jack under the middle of the rear axle and get it lifted. How from the fornt - whats the best and safest place. 2. Is there any difference between bushes/hubs and hicas arms on a uk 92 series 1 to a J-spec 89 Series 1 SWB. Reason being - Ive just paid over £300 for bushes on my UK zed. SWB has failed on these so was gonna remove them from uk and fit em to my SWB. Cheers guys - appreciated all the help Ive been getting.

Anyone done it, my mechanic has never done one on a zed and just asked me if its an easy job - I of course said yes :) Whats involved though - is it a case of just jack up the car - undo wires to back of starter motor and undo a few bolts and it comes out?

hmmm, Ive been told my zed wont take it Im thinking it may be a breather prob.

Can you fill your petrol tank to full? Ive been told not to fill mine anymore than 3/4 full as it just spills out (not sure where from)? Im unsure as to whether this is a ventilation problem or where the wide arch conversion has something to do with it?

Got a 69A (I think) on my J-Spec Got a new 96A on the UK one. Is it worth putting the 96A into my J-Spec - Gonna be running HIDs etc, or would you leave as is?

Would an import with a 99 spec front be this? The vehicle's construction/design cannot accomodate standard size number plates Specifications for smaller sized plates (for certain imported vehicles) Technically it could accept a larger plate - mounting on the 99spec is small though.

cheers mate, nowt there about imports though. Does that mean now all cars must have std plates even imports - what about the imports that are fitted with small plate mounting such as the 99 spec.

Whats the best way guys, its popped up on here recently. My rear quarts are tinted purple and rear window is smoked - wanna remove it all.

Anyone know what the legal smallest size plate I can have for the front of my zed. its a 99 spec front and has a small mounting plate. Dont want to ruin looks with a big ugly uk plate. Cheers

lol, martin - shes a beauty mate. Needs some spit and polish and a little t-cut, and some black touchup. Ive swapped interiors today, swapped over the centre console, switch gear, gearstick leathers, gearstick, stereo surrounds, elec windows switches etc. . . . . Started to look very tidy on the inside now ;) Replacing the Starter tomorrow as its screeching real bad, now doing it nearly every time I try and start her up. Trying to devise a tool to undo the antera wheel valves. Very happy matey. Swapping induction over soon, putting an Apexi on her.

hehe, nah gonna leave it as it Put some 5" jobbies on the red zed. too big and too loud. The red zed's going btw. Not showing off ;) Cant afford to keep both :( just reet chuffed :D

Cheers guys. so if connectors on back of dash pod are different just swap the speedo gauge over - yes? Secondly - what do I do about the odometer, will that still clock up in miles or KMH. Ill take a photograph for proof of mileage before and put it into the records.

been searching - may trry swapping over dials - unsure if I can put a uk series 1 speedo gauge in my pod and it would read correctly. Still cant find the chiming. . . . .

Can you just bung UK clocks in and throw the KMH ones away? Reason - I have a set of UK clocks, and my new import still has KMH. And how do I get rid of that bloody chiming that I can hear when speed is over a certain level??!! :)
