  1. 4 days bud, 4 days of misery and self loathing :)
  2. Hi, posted a while ago in the Club Membership and Enquiries but I dont think many people read that :) Its an app for your smartphones (Apple, Android, Symbian) that allows you to read (properly) the club forum. Any chance of getting the coding added to here so we can use it? It would mean a more active forum as most of us are restricted at work as to what we can view/post. Cheers Im sure there are plenty of people who could testify/back me up as to what a good app it is and how well it works.
  3. any further on with this people. Its proven a good app and would help out club members who have *restricted* work access :)
  4. I must be getting old :)
  5. running a custom one from ExhaustsUK its full stainless steel with Cobra backboxes. I had the middle boxes removed, from what I remember when they done this the X pipe was also removed - I need to double check this. Also decatted.
  6. Morning all Resubscribed, the Wife had serious words with me about advertising my car, and the upshot is, I cant go through with it. I absolutely love the look of the car, even trying to convince my wife it has a nicer rear end than the white 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo we saw yesterday - lol. Ive removed it from ebay, and Im gonna see how money goes so I can start sorting out the little bits that niggle me. I met a really nice chap who is now on this forum (Sean?) who came round to view car (even took his shoes off to get in!), who I guess as hes local I'll be seeing more of in future. Sean, When you pick up a zed youre more than welcome to pop round mate for coffee/beer. I have a conzult here if you wanna borrow that too :) Anyway, wife has told me to start taking a bit of the car and bring it in the house and start cleaning it. (Cant ask for a better wife). Some bits I cant do (like the side skirt damage amd rear rim damage) but gonna see what I can do later with them. I think Peaches offered me a machine polish :) Does that still stand bud. So much I wanna do with car, one being to quieten down the exhaust more, I've paid to have it done twice now but I think its still too loud. The exhaust bungs Ive seen on fleabay wont fit my tailpipe, so will prob try and *swap* my exhaust for a more standard one later. Anyway, now a fully paid and very happy member.
  7. cheers fella, I'll have a lookie. found this site in the meantime.... http://www.hornblasters.com/video.php?video=75 Hornblasters - Train horns fitted in cars :)
  8. anyone tried these? Think these might be ok? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PIAA-Sports-Horn-Dual-Horns-Kit-500Hz%2f600Hz_W0QQitemZ400090599543QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=185315036178&rvr_id=185315036178&cguid=c432679312b0a0aad2a44fc4fffbaf04 They also do a 400Hz & 500Hz which Im guessing will give a deeper sound, more what I want.
  9. Evening all. Parped a pheasant today, forgotten how poor the horn is in my car :blushing: Not really a beefy mans horn is it. From what I remember there is a single horn on mine under the nose panel. Reading through someone recommended the dual Vauxhall Vectra horns, Would I need to fit a relay for these? Any other recommendations for replacing it - I also recall someone saying the Fiat horns (same as Lambo), what model is it coz searching for fiat horns brings up 100's Cheers
  10. Hi all Just rung up a wheel alignment place who have a Hunter Hawkeye machine. (Supposedly the current best in the market). He says he can do all wheel alignment for me but it would have to be factory settings for the 300. He can override them but said I would need to give him settings. Anyone know here what settings I would give him? Car is lowered by 30-40mm, Running Powertrix rose jointed front lower adjustable arms, spacers of about 3" (will check later) on rear, running Antera 309's (265? rear - 225? front). HICAS Eliminator fitted. Again can check all settings later on. Or can anyone recommend someone who could look at the car and do a full setup on custom mods around sheffield? Cheers

  13. 360 for me here, had both - ps3 controllers are for people with deformed hands!! Sold ps3 after a year - miss the blueray tho
  14. Hi I had the cats removed, middle boxes took out so straight through stainless to the back boxes. Very Loud Had enough last year so I took it back to the place who done it, crossed their greasy palms with another £300 and had quieter back boxes fitted. Still Very Loud. They told me the only way to go any quieter now is to fit a standard restrictive back box on and have a totally standard exhaust note. Am I right in thinking if I got some middle boxes and had them refitted it would quieten down or just restrict flow? Do you think it would make much difference.

  21. Ive also noticed the metal rod coming from the solenoid hasnt got a bent tip on it, some of the other rods going to the other clips have a small right angle bend on them where they click in.
  22. Whilst door panel is off Im trying to work out where the metal bar from the drivers side central door locking solenoid goes. its operating when I do the alarm but the metal rod is only attached to the solenoid - cant find anywhere its meant to clip in. anyone got a diagram? Cheers
