Oh yeah, happy with the part refund. The kit cost £86.50 with shipping and import tax. So its cost me £56.50 for some vinyl. Very expencive bit of Vinyl.

Stu, should have saved yourself £50 and bought the vinyl from a fabric shop.

Right he has offered me a £30 refund. What do you guys think? This is his reply. Dear Nick The kit was supplied and you are nearly finished the installation! 1)The product that was advertised was the product you received, there where three pictures on the auction. 2 where of the vinyl kit installed and 1 was leather(all of which where kits i sold). as per a fault in uploading one leather trim picture.( which you have saved to file - if you don't have them i can send them to you.) 2)The trim kits are pre cut larger so there is room for error in installation. After all your accusations and misinformation spread about the trim kits which is unacceptable before finding out the full story. Well the Vinyl and delivery is they only thing ok about it. Thats it. Cut it out yourself and stitch the handbrake boot yourself and your away! Or email the bloke and tell him what a piece of p1ss it is and you want your money back.

in reply this is what I have written to him I am not in any way interested in comparing your kit to what other people are selling nor am I trying to say the kit was damaged, arrived late or had pieces missing, I am concerned that what your pictures showed was not what was sent. And also the fact I had to use the original cloth trim as a template and cut out from your trim using them as a guide to get them to fit was unacceptable. As I had mentioned before If I had wanted to muck about cutting out templates myself, I would have gone and bought the vinyl for £12 at my local fabric shop. The fact that other places sell kits at a much higher price has no bearing on you advertising kits with photos of something that is far from being the actual product. I have got the kit mostly installed in my car and looks good, but in no way has anything to do with your manufacturing of the kit. All you have done for me is supply vinyl for me to cut out myself at an astronomical cost. So to go over why I am upset with this product simply for you 1, Product advertised was not product received. 2, Every piece did not fit without complete alteration. Dear Nick In to the regards to you making accusations about the business i run, i want to set the picture straight. The kits in the one picture(Blue 300zx) is a leather kit,i was an agent of an American company called (custom interiors) who did leather and vinyl kits and not katzkins! Custom interiors went out of business 2 months ago from the owner having an accident in his 300zx. I took over there vinyl kits. The vinyl in the kits, are high quality uv protectant. and once installed look great and last years. but as i see you have just made an assumption on me misleading you. The vinyl kits I provide are 55 pounds and not 200 pounds. There is a leather kit in the uk for 500 pounds and that is just for the seats the panel trim is another 200 pounds. Not to mention the additional charge for the gear stick gaiter, hand brake gaiter ( this information comes from your local Z CENTER website in the uk i have attached a link for you to see http://www.zcentre.co.uk/interior/leather.shtml as well as other companies in the usa doing the same kits http://www.importsextreme.com/ and charging more!!! I want to show you this site that does the trim kits for 300zx http://www.ztoys.net he charged his customers and didn't even send the kits (he stole there money). I am in not associated with these companies. You received your kit within the shipping time 4 to 10 days and the kit was not in any way damaged or missing pieces it was complete. once installed will finish the zx off nicely. I have been in the trim business a long time and sold meny kits without complaint and don't rip people off. and i am a 300zx enthusiast. I have ended all my auctions until this is worked out. Look at the lovely stitching that does not come witrh the kit.

If your thinking about getting it, dont bother. buy the Vinyl yourself save £70. Here is a letter I have written to them after getting the "KIT" I received your trim kit, thank you. Unfortunately receiving it is the only thanks you'll be getting about it. The kit is appalling. I have had to cut out each and every panel again so it fits, if I had wanted to do that I would have gone and bought three meters of Vinyl from my local fabric shop. Secondly and more annoyingly is the pictures you show on eBay clearly show STITCHING around the door cards (please see picture) and even in the "How Too" guide that comes with the kit refers to stitching i.e. the glove box lid. This was the reason I bought the kit as it made it look like a professional kit put together properly with stitching and a bit of effort gone into it. How wrong I could have been. Complete waste of time and money, In the ten days it took to arrive I could have made the kit myself and fitted it at quarter of the cost, and it would have fitted first time round. Very disappointed and annoyed. Nicholas Hart.
