They must have been old and gone off, PZero are very good tyres. But yes I do agree they dont last long.

You'll probably find the speakers are quite poor quality and facing them into the box will help a little, reflected bass gives a much more rounded sound and will help a hell of a lot with cheep speakers. Thats most likey why the sound was nicer in the box they were in. Also try reducing or eliminating the ports as said before.

I'm in IT, love it to bits cos I do feck-all all day and take home a nice pay cheque.

My mate built his own detector, cos him £2.17 and has a nice wooden box that sits on his dash! Its not bad, except everything sets it off, phones, doors, indicators, birds, talking, blinking.
