You dont have to do pairs, depends on how much tred you have on the other side to warrent changing both, if you do only change one I'd make sure you get the same make/type as the other one.

I've got this and my mate (Who got me into Zeds) a few years ago had the same. He had his all cheacked out somewhere and they said its all ok.

IMHO If you dont feel its quite right walk away, most of the time your basic gut instinct is right. Sure there are plenty more out there for sale (Just ask Scoops!)
