  1. MAC, you got any bumper recomendations??
  2. I think you may be a bit bigger than me mate!!!!
  3. Why is it, that any job you do on a Z is never as straight forward as you think? Been doing a few job's on mine for MOT, and it's been a ball-ache from day one. Rear brake pipe's, Normal car's, they just run along the axle, or along the chassis where it's dead easy to replace. The Z, to replace rear metal brake pipe's is major surgery, the rear suspension has to be removed, or you got no hope of getting anywhere near to where you want to be. Steering rack rubbers, any normal car, loosen bolt's securing rack, lift slightley, and replace. The Z, undo rack, undo engine mount's and jack engine up, undo front cross member, drop cross member, and then you can work on replacing rubbers!! Now I realise, and for those of you who dont know me, im not the smallest person on the planet, and I do have hand's like shovel's, but it seem's that these small jobs have been the bain of my exsistence lately, and im glad to say i've finally finished it. Roll on the new year, and it's replacement turbo time!!!!

Ring gear is the cog surrounding the flywheel, the starter moter cog engages with this cog to turn the engine over when you start the car
  17. Supra wheels will fit the stud pattern, but the hole for the hub to sit in maybe smaller, I had this problem. All I can suggest is that if you have the oppetunity to go and see these wheel's, do so. You may be able to remove the centre part of the wheel. What I mean is that some wheel manufacturer's fit what i can only discribe as A seal, to make the wheels sit nice on cars with smaller hubs. If that is the case, all you need to do is remove it
