-
Keep the Z or get an Elise
Must admit, i've driven an elise, and I really enjoyed it, problem is, I put it in the same catagory as a beach buggy, it's great fun when you use it, but you just want to give it back when you finished with it.

Squeel on Start Up.
Quickest way to cure the squeak noise, is to cover the belt's in talc power, it dont adjust the loose belt of coarse, but the squeak will stop!!!

eBay - WTF?!?
To sell raffle tickets outside of a group of people, you have to have a licence from a local council or else it is illegal, believe me, i've done my research. The licence will cost £35 for a year, and then you can hold as many raffle's as you like, and to renew it is £17.50. So therefore, this raffle is probably illegal!!! And dont worry about our Christmas raffle, it's all above board, so there's no excuses not to buy any!!!

Christmas raffle (again)
Hi Guys and Girl's, As you will all be aware by now, Scottywill and I have been organising a Christmas Raffle, and we are hoping to get ticket sales posted very soon. We are down to arranging last few detail's, and waiting for a few trader's, and a few others to get back to us with prizes. The Chairman has told me he is happy for all profits from this raffle to go to the club, or to go to charity. I personally would like the money to go to charity, and let someone else benifit from this club's generosity. So, maybe im out of order, maybe im not, but all profits raised from this raffle will be going to charity, I dont know if we have a charity, or not. but as a club, feel we should do our bit. So the winner will be also given the opertunity to specify the registered charity of their choice money raised will be donated to.

Bad Night last night
Billy, this was posted as a wake up call, and I dont like someone trying to put this thread into some sort of after midnight, few pint's on board, debate. I posted it because if I save one person's life, or, save a Christmas from being ruined, then I'll be happy. The point seem's to have been missed, that gas leak could have killed my family, could have killed next door, dont go telling me about death's on the road, believe me, I could start a whole new thread on that!! I appreciate your trade Neil, and I appreciate the efficency of the gas fitter who sorted this for me, but I would have rather had received the benefit of your knowledge, in a ledgable, understable way, as apposed to a free advertisment from yourself. And for the record, in the intrest of safety, im more than willing to pay for a service 6 monthly

Bad Night last night
My gas system was completely checked over, by a corgi registered guy in January, and all was ok. This is my point, if i'd waited till January for another check over, my family could have been dead!!!! Sorry if im making a big thing of this, and you guy's who know me, know im a big guy who dont scare easily, but this is really serious, for piece of mind, get it checked, or as Duffman says, get a detector!! Thank's for all the well wishes, and I do really appreciate it, but Im not doing it for me, it's for you guy's, and girl's. Please, Please dont let it happen to you

Bad Night last night
Read this as a warning guy's, take it from me. After an evening of banter on the forum last night, I sat in my new reclining leather chair, for half an hour in front the TV, before showering and bed, with that, my middle daughter came down stairs, covered in sick, complaining she didnt feel well. So me and the wife went up stairs, sorted her bed, got her cleaned up, went to leave her room, and noticed the youngest daughter had also been sick in her sleep. So once again, stripped her bed, cleaned her up, new bedding, and put her back in. Wife then says that she thought she could smell GAS!! Told her not to be silly, but had a look at the boiler, and checked the cooker, could'nt see or smell anything out the ordinary, so left it and went back downstair's. After a bit, went upstairs for a shower, having a sniff along the way, getting a bit paranoid, but could'nt really smell nothing. A bit later wife comes up the stair's, and it's the, "I can deffinatly smell gas, you need to look for it, go on, blah, blah, blah". So I went back on to the landing, and yes there was a smell. So at midnight last night, im pulling up floor boards on the landing checking gas pipes, and yes, there was a leak. Shut the gas off. Called the Gas board out, and give them there due, as I had all the boards up, he sorted it. But, I still feel really bad inside that my family were in danger, and I didnt really listen. I dont know if your aware, gas isnt poiseness anymore, but it will make you ill. From now on, im having my system checked 6 monthly, and for all of you who hav'nt, do it!! I dont know how long it's been leaking, and I know the leak was minimal, but as a smoker, it was a bomb waiting to go off!! It's one of those thing's you read in the paper, knowing that it wont happen to you, it can, it happened to me, get it checked, please!! On the up side, kids are of school, and im off work for the day, so its a day with the family, It could have been the first of many days without them!!
