Starting to get worried
We do not get many problems with any of the traders on this forum. Saying that, if you do, then 9 times out of 10, if you contact the trader directly the problem can normally be resolved between your selves. If it's not resolved, then thats when you contact Mac1 or myself, and we get involved, this isnt a course of action we like to persue, but thats why all the traders on this board are sanctioned through the committee, and why we dont have a 'free for all'.

Car Security Advice
Im surprised that any alarm fitter, issueing a Thatchem approved certificate, would leave a turbo timer operational as well, we were never allowed to when we fitted them, as it would allow the engine to run while no one was present! And yes, I know the engine should shut down should anyone try to move the car with no key in the ignition, and the steering lock would come on, before anyone mentions it!

my new plates
My front number plate is the same size, if not smaller than yours Mr red; The first and last time I got pulled for it, I explained to the copper that the front number plate on a Japanese car is allowed to be the same size as the country of origin, though I failed to mention that mine is a UK car!!  Notice your plate is hidden inside the front vent, that probably isnt helping!!!

traction control?
Seem to be missing the point, anyone who thinks they are, 'A top driver', '300zx is a drivers car', etc, etc. Well done, you obviousley have never made a mistake whilst driving your car at the limit, and I congratulate you! I personally would like to enjoy my car, whatever the weather, and if that means fitting traction control, as a precaution, then I will. Nothing to do with my driving ability. A bit like wearing a seat belt!!

Tailgate problems
I would check the wires that go into the tail gate at the top, sounds like a break to me, the reversing lights will have a seperate feed going to them, possibly a faulty switch!! You could check for a faulty earth, but you did say you had no feed, so Im assuming you have already tested the feeds?
