Okay, what did I miss?
Hi Guys All the Jeff threads have been moved into a storage area, I'm not sure why this has been done, maybe for legal reasons. I didn't move them. ;) The only other threads removed where from the events and meetings Lakeside meet after a request from smw1 so he could re-organise. Cheers Martin

This is going to me moved for definite
Hi Steve, I sent you a mail earlier. I don't want to discuss the Jeff situ anymore but I think it would be best that we agree to disagree. What I would like to ask (again but in public) is why Luke feels alienated from the forum. All I have read is excellent reports about Luke. The only bad stuff that has been said was about the garage he uses for resprays, and I believe there is a case when two members cars are looking taty after a year or so. Could you please find out why Luke feels this way? I read 99% of the forum and as I said above have not heard/read ONE bad word, just praise. Regards Martin

Repair costs, my opinion
Just to clear things up. The £800 was for labour and paint alone, I purchased all the parts off here second hard with the exception of the bumper which came from Mike at MJP. Yes I have known the guy who did the work for many years and yes I did pay cash (make of that what you will). But the car was built to perfect specification, like new, but it all really doen't matter now as some tw@t went and smashed into it three weeks later anyway :( So it now all needs redoing and I have to meet the insurance assessor tomorrow. No doubt the bill for his insurance company will be well into the 3k mark. Roll on Peter @ PPS. No other comments as I'm too tired to battle anymore. Cheers Martin

Front bumper
Hey I thougt of a third also, I believe the Scarab is cheaper and you don't need to purchase new indicators :D Good luck with whichever you choose.
-
Front bumper
I had the GReddy one before my 99 and yes it was an awesome looking bumper but two things to consider. 1. The GReddy I had (well Scarab) was made of fibreglass and with the slightest of knocks broke. 2. The GReddy is a very low bumper and was a pain in the arse round here because of all the speed humps. I was forever scraping the bottom :( Cheers Martin

Just had my car De-Catted
Quality Stu, this really is one mod I would like, but am sooooooo worried about seals, be interesting to see how you get on. :) Funny enough I did get the pipes off Johnny but decided against because of seals and I think they were for a 2+2. Can anyone confirm there is a difference between swb and lwb? Cheers Martin

Grasshopper Open Day
Nice one Ajay it is great to the pics :D Is there another photo of the supra with the flip? What did it look like in the flesh? Yep Chris's car is looking great, Stuart I believe it is the GReddy front. To who does the wide arse / leather black one belong to? Cheers Martin

Do you mean the environment variables for the JRE? You can set up the Java Class path environment variable normally called JAVA_HOME there. Goto System Properties | Advanced | Environment Variables. Hope this helps. Martin

Wheels and Tyres again ;)
Thanks Chris Yep see your point on the cost, good tyres will be £500 odd, fcuk that  In 18s they do 8 x 18 and 9.5 x 18 no doubt these will be ok, shame there is no 10 x 18 but the difference is small. So what tyres will these require and can you also advice on the spacers and cost. Cheers mate Martin

Boot spoiler
Yep here you go. http://www.300zx.co.uk/rides/davew/ Bear in mind you will still need to do something with the area where your current spoiler is - remove, skin etc Check out http://www.zcentre.co.uk for options. I believe the WW Mid is around the 330 mark. hth Martin
-
Boot spoiler
no disrespect to the guys on here who have em, but not for me a little ott. why not try a mid or low spoiler, wings west do a great mid wing. see davew's rides cheers Martin

FAO: Craig n every1
nice one clarkey for having a go, but i agree need to be consistant with the look and feel on the forum imo. best way would be to view the source of one of these pages and amend in dreamweaver/notepad/whatever to make the first page. this is def something we need. well done chap for getting it started. items that could go on are a few links like to andyp's site, online manual etc and perhaps some info on what goes on in here, how to register etc we could then get rid of both the stickies at the top of the help forum. hope you continue with it, if you need any advice feel free to email me. Cheers Martin p.s. well done for not putting moving/flying shite everywhere :D
