  1. Yep mine going in also for some kit and flip paint :D, just waiting for confirmation of funds and I'm there. Do I get the "furthest to travel" award ;) I think it will cost me £200 in fuel alone lol
  2. Ive already paid  ;)
  3. Exactly Andy, I guess mine was not sealed correctly thus the water getting in. Very annoying considering it cost £150. On the plus side they do look very cool. I guess one day I will have a go at pulling mine apart and drying out.
  4. I was asked twice to up my endowment payments and I told them where they could put it. Best to modilfy your current mortgage and put less onto endowment and more onto repayment.
  5. If any of you guys who are planning to buy from the guy who smithy used, bear in mind he wont help ya if things go wrong i.e. no warranty etc Mine has leaked water and this guy does not give a shit :(
  6. Just to add the pressure on you Chris ;), I could to with this very soon. Cheers
  7. Mods / Admin, was this thread closed for a reason??? Can't see any so have unlocked. Cheers Martin
  8. I have an HKS and manged to fit myself and I havent a clue about cars lol, I'm sure there is a write up somewhere. Since fitting I get goosehonk occassionally ;) and almost a dump value noise when i let off the gas. Otherwise very happy and did notice the revs rev quicker with it fitted. HTH Martin
  9. Email Chris C (on the forum) for a chip, I'm sure he was selling one and it will be far cheaper than the copy you are planning to buy for £350. As Stuart says you will also need to up the boost for a noticable difference, this can be done with boost jets or a boost controller. HTH Martin
  10. You need to remove the indicators first and then there are 3 bolts on the back of the housing, Once undone you can remove. HTH Martin
  11. Snap, except use DeeEnEs to automatically update dyndns.org. Very cool :).
  12. I have a pack of hks plugs but not fitted yet. Anything I should know about?
  13. Jesus guys, what are you doing to me, I am almost a reformed character lol Mike, how about putting instructions up on the old server which has the message about this site about editing your host file. The dns did not work for me, but managed to get here. Hope you all get it sorted soon Good luck Martin P.S. Windows / dot Net / Sql Server all the way :D P.S.2 Have we lost some posts?
  14. lol funny as, yep always get them, i just leave the little blighters alone, but if there still there at wash time, its gonna be a bad day for em.
  15. If you wanted something a little cheaper but just as professional I will do it for you Warren, I know several web designers and I have worked in the programming of websites for serveral years with a software engineering degree to boot. Probably done 60 sites for major blue chip companies including a total mix of technologies including dot net, sql server, xml, xsl, javascript etc. You get the picture. I can also get you a good hosting package with the company I work for. Or I am sure Mike (who hosts this site) could do you a good deal. Have a chat with me on messenger. Cheers Martin (wants more money for his zed)
  16. Vicky this is no suprise most Nissan dealers know nothing about the 300zx, you should do a search and read some of the horror stories  Your best bet is to get the 60k service kit from courtesy parts: http://courtesyparts.com/z32/z32-tbkita1.html (I paid around £260 with fuel filter) and ring simon who will fit, check and replace brake fluid and advice on other jobs required. I was charged £370 for labour including brake fluid replacement, oil. etc. Total cost £630 and a great job done. Hope this helps Martin
  17. Welcome splash :D Where you from on the south coast?
  18. Nice one Craig, seems to be spreading round here, who is gonna be next :D Seriously tho best wishes to you both. Cheers Martin
  19. Gutted Dylan :( I know its too late now but you can get classic insurance on J-Spec imports. I have just been quoted £470 and £415 from lifesure and the insurance factory respectively. If you even down Bournemouth way again get in touch, perhaps one day i'll get a go in the westfield :D See ya Martin
  20. Wasn't the forum down earlier today? Perhaps it has got itself into a bit of a muddle :(
  21. Hi SilverZed, welcome to the forum. :D I see you are not far away (another member for the south ;)). I would recommend taking your zed to Park Garage in Winton (Bournemouth). Kris, LazyDay, AndersUK (when he had one) and myself all use them and had no problems. Competitively priced also. Park Garage Service Centre 571, Wimborne Rd Bournemouth BH9 2AR (01202) 523000 Ask for Simon. Hope you have many hours of fun and look out for a southern meet , hopefully soon. Cheers Martin
  22. Very nice Harve. Have you got any details (cost, where from etc) on the brake set up? Like the wheels also. Cheers Martin
  23. Fair point Gio about Vince and I apologise.
  24. Hi Dave, your right the southern crew might take over from the soft northern lot soon lol :D Perhaps when the weather is a little better (read when i get my car back ;) ) we should arrange a meet. Cheers Martin
