i just got back from Manchester - lovely drive - did it in about 1hr 40mins. Was boosting fine (15psi but normally it sometimes spikes at 16/17!) but it was a little sluggish off the mark due to the weather. journey cost about £35 altogether (Leic to Manch and back).

he must have put loads of effort into doing that! fair play to the guy - good job! (shame its only 250bhp tho :( :rolleyes: )

i got 4 - but the quiz is wrong. when there's no-one there you dont go to the edges cos that's supposed to show you like to be 'boxed in' - you go second from the edge. pah - stupid quiz.

TBH Rob the year doesnt matter. yeah you'd think that a '94 would be better than an '89 but like i said it's down to each car. manual/auto is up to your driving preference - both are great and the guys on here will argue till the cows come home about which is best ;)

hi Rob - welcome to the club. its all down to preference - good choice with the TT ;) T-Tops are very common - there's the odd hardtop and softtop going around but they're quite rare. UK spec is generally more favoured, although IIRC there tends to be just as many JDMs as UKs on this forum. benefit of JDM is (on average) less rust, less mileage. 2-seaters are not as common as 2+2s and are very slightly faster due to the less weight. At the end of the day its your preference as to whether you want UK/JDM, 2/2+2, T-top or hard/soft-top. The most important thing is the condition of the car itself when you find it.
