my first was a 1988 Mk2. Cav 1.3 which I got from someone for £40 who was about to scrap it. Got it from the seller's house to my mate's house then couldnt get it to start again. :headvswal ended up scrapping it for him. my first drivable car was a 1.3 Mk2. Astra automatic that was about ten different shades of red.

Tony's right with the prices. Sometimes it costs as much if not more than the wheel itself for the boss :( I'm not sure about adapting an N/A boss to fit a TT. I don't know if it could be done or not.

AFAIK the prop shaft centre bearings between a JDM auto and manual are the same, as I used my auto bearings (which were ok) on my new manual g/box (which had a knackered bearing). sorry cant help any further tho
