i got an RSM and S-AFC2 and they keep their settings ok. have you got one of those dodgy AVC-R's which need to be recalled? someone else started a thread about them earlier.

i couldnt resist neons - mine are more subtle tho i have to say - softer blue and under the footwells. i think that the car needs to look mad for outer neons to suit, but hey I think a Z looks better for it than a mundane-o any day.

could be the ptu playing up. Series '1' PTUs have a tendency to go at just the wrong times (clever little things). If it starts happening more and more often, (and you find the car starts up ok after a few minute's cooling down) then its quite likely the ptu. these are £50-ish for 2nd-hand series 1, or £80+ for series 2. also, do you have aftermarket BOVs fitted?

i think this is a great idea - something like a table with categories like: under 25, under 28, under 30, import, light mods, heavy mods, etc., along the top, and down the side list as many insurance companies as we can get info on. Like my recent thread says I was pulling my hair out sifting through which companies were worth calling and which I could skip out. perhaps we could get the basic info from their websites, or from member's experience. I would be more than willing to set up such a table if it helps other people get decent insurance without taking 10 years off their life expectancy!

I'm two years too young mate :( otherwise they'd have been my first choice. I've still got 5 days before my policy starts plus a 14 day cancellation period so Ive got time to shop for cheaper alternatives, but just getting someone to insure me has taken it out of me today.

i think there are 2 or 3 brands out there that use the same or similar gauge but put a different label on the front TBH. I have a Fast & Furious boost gauge (yes yes i know) but it works ok (although ive got nothing to calibrate against) and it changes colour ( :hyper: ) . looks exactly the same as the one pictured but says F&F instead.

lol - im not sure itll quite be a 'bloodbath' but i think it needs to be darker than the others - its all about a jedi becoming a sith - what could be darker than that? (apart from painting your white zed black :eek: ) should be good tho.

Just spent the last three hours on the phone trying to get a decent quote for my 300. I've worn the carpet out pacing up and down the room, pulled bits of my hair out, and lost half a stone. I hate car insurance. No-one would insure me because of the modifications. There are a few mods but it's not a bl00dy touring-car spec or anything. I spent 55 minutes talking to a lovely lady called Lisa from Churchill, after explaining all the mods and being put on hold for 5 times I was given a fairly half-decent quote but I had to have had a tracker installed. Cat 1 alarm + immob. not good enough?!?! Eventually Adrian Flux have covered me, all mods, 7 years NCB, no NCB protection, limited to 5000 miles, comprehensive for £1200. :eek: (WITH club discount tho :bow: ) Bl00dy insurance :mad: :mad: :mad:

I agree with Mike, check out some of the other owner's clubs and they're moderated to within an inch of their lives. I missed the deleted thread tho so I can't comment on that. Peace out. :)
