I agree with Aaron here. I had BOVs installed while my car was an automatic, and when changing up they didnt get a chance to dump! :bow: (although kind of missed the point - thank goodness for manual conversions!)

water getting into the air filter/AFM is another cause. mine feels like it runs on 4 or 5 cylinders for a few hours after the air filter gets soaked.

fraid so mate. autos have Garrett T25s and manuals have T28s. Something to do with the different gearing in the autobox and quicker spool-up. or sommat.

the engine loses about 14ish% through a manual transmission to the wheels, so 240/250 sounds about right. autos lose about 20-25% :eek:
