yes its probably right Jason. i pointed out a few months ago (i had my geek head on at the time!) that only half of the members of this club had actually posted anything at all!!! mind you pk1 makes up for the other half ;) ;)

i had the exact same problem a couple of weeks ago. dead battery after the car had sat in the bodyshop for 2 weeks then been used for short journeys in the cold with heaters on etc ( :nono: ). it had a light loose-tappet kind of noise which went away soon afterwards. i think it was more to do with the cold but as long as it goes then im happy :)

i think youre right there fella - they dont have to care about anything cos so many people use it. bunch of grapes. Graham i think you can turn off notifications but i think because it's charge-related they might just keep coming. i'll see if they suspend me or not. stay tuned!

series 1 are pretty notorious for failing. they can just decide to cut out on you, although the application of cold water over it tends to keep it going for a while longer (enough to get you home!). try swapping with another one.

im getting really sick and tired of ebay sending me these emails saying ive got outstanding fees from selling stuff (when ive only sold one item in the last 3 months!) TWICE ive signed up for automatic payments from my paypal account but i still get these messages. it says if youve already paid then disregard this email - but why send it in the first place if im already signed up for automatic payments? delete the e-mail, log into ebay and there it is again, accusing me of not paying. :xxx: :rant: :xxx: :rant: ive not contacted them yet - im going to wait for them to suspend my account then give them hell!!! :rant: :nono: rant over... ...for now... :D

yes it does. well not really. most people will argue the toss that the performance 'loss' between atmospheric BOVs and recirculating BOVs is minimal. fairly pointless on an auto (instantaneous change-up but you can still 'whoosh' when you want to although you need to take your foot off the gas and then floor it again to change up which probably sounds a bit weird to a clued-up passer-by!) but good on a manual if you like that sort of thing (like yours truly :D )

must be an mr2 thing mate as ive had ApexIs on my Z for over a year and they (pretty much) behave themselves.

while my Z was an auto I had an ALC2 fitted - great performance and well happy with the mod. then my autobox went kaboom. whether the ALC was to blame or not, no-one but the autobox will know. i was told by the supplier that it will not put extra strain on the box. you pays yer money you takes yer... etc. etc.

depends on mileage bud. £5k from a dealer is a reasonable price tho for a Z that looks in good nick. only two mods listed there mate (boost controller and ecu) try and find out what others you have.
