Worst 300zx advert ever????
lol, i think she missed the 3 off the start of the '0-60 in 3 secs'. i think the highest bidder will be a little disappointed with the performance.

Goldwave is a nice piece of kit although a little dated. need to register after a while but you should get it to work with no problems.

yes youre right. this can be just as dangerous as the AVCR so best to leave well alone unless you know what youre doing. mine was set up by professionals on a RR and i just use it for display purposes as it shows TPS, knock, speed, revs etc. TBH ive heard that Zs dont give much of a response when you tweak the mixture when compared to other japs. but it still looks good ;) best to check your ecu mate. pull the carpet up from passenger footwell, open the 'floorboards' up and you should see a gold coloured box. open this up and youll be able to see the eprom inside near the bottom right corner of the gold box. if the outside of the ecu box doesnt give you a clue (eg. Apexi or Blitz or Mine's etc.) then the eprom should tell you (maybe JWT etc.)

Check out this crash
id seen that clip ages ago but it finished with the camera showing the blazing Ferrari, playing that sad music. we could only assume he never got out alive - but this clip shows that he did so in the short term im glad to see that he's alive. however, as stated above, he sat in that inferno for 90 seconds plus before being helped. where were the fire trucks? where was the ambulance? in the end it looks like they got a white van man out of the car park to come along and bundle him away. i wonder if they charged him for the fare too. in my opinion, Ota was quite right to sue and its a shame he didnt get what he asked for. ps. hats off to the guys who designed the fire resistant garments he was wearing  if it wasnt for them, there wouldnt be anything left of his skeleton let alone his skin

ok first of all you want to be absolutely sure how much boost you are running in real-time. do you have an AFTERMARKET boost gauge, or are you certain you can read the current boost from the AVCR? you said you were "currently running at 0.7 and a half bar" - can you be clearer on this? half a bar is safety boost, but the AVCR would over-ride that so your Z wouldnt run safety boost if the ecu detects a problem. stock boost is 0.65 bar (9.5 psi). next you want to be absolutely sure that you have an aftermarket ecu or eprom installed. the stock chip won't map fuel correctly when you start to go over stock boost and your car will run mega-lean and start to det. the 'ratio' is commonly the maximum boost you want to run - if you cant find the right documentation then its a matter of careful experimentation as to what ratio equals what max psi. i had to do the same with my Blitz - that used gain and ratio too. Gain is how quickly the EBC lets the boost build up. higher gain means faster build-up but can/will result in overboost, where the boost level will go ABOVE your ratio momentarily, before it is cut back down to size. usual setups will be either a high ratio (say 15psi on stock tubs etc.) and a safe gain (so it builds up to 15 safely), or a lower ratio (say 13psi) and a higher gain (so it builds up quicker, spikes at 15 [which is borderline safe] and drops down to 13) if you cant find someone who knows how to set them up, pref. with a rolling road, then the best way to do it is experiment, with someone else in the car either driving or setting the controller. dont forget, one wrong adjustment and its goodbye engine and turbos!!!!

hi mate ive not used the Apexi AVCR but i do have the SAFC2 - the latter has nothing to do with boost. just make sure you dont touch it as you can damage the engine if you adjust the air/fuel mix! does the AVCR mention ratio and gain?
