  3. Happy Birthday both :duffer:
  4. some awesome tracks there. although from haddaway i preferred 'rock my heart' and from culture beat i liked 'anything' best
  5. i would imagine something would fook up - if the boost cant escape to atmosphere, and there's no recirc, then you'll get compressor surge as it goes back through the turbo on that side. surely they're loud enough for you - i have apexis too and theyre just the right noise. what boost are you running, as obviously the more boost the louder the sound.
  6. R32 going by the shape :)
  7. dont think they suit, but nice work though
  8. im not going to get into the argument, but i do want to say you've got a good attitude Budd :)
  9. http://www.aquarterof.co.uk/
  10. i have another question you or someone might be able to answer Pete - under boost ive noticed a vertical line either side of the thick boost line in the graph that goes up off the scale. so lets say i give it some beans through each gear, the graph will show the boost rising up and dropping off for each gear, and each curve will have a vertical line from top to bottom either side of it. does the unit just segregate each period of boost for you or does it mean something else? sorry i cant provide a photo
  11. get the specs Athene and we can breed our own. keep them under the stairs and throw garbage at them. result: no need to worry about wheelie bin charges, and no need to worry about petrol
  12. lol well blu-rays can store about 8x the data a normal DVD can because it uses blue lasers instead of red lasers, and there are several layers to the data on the disc, instead of one or two on normal DVDs. hence, loads more game data for games (PS3 and maybe PC in the future), and less compression of films. in fact, sound is hardly compressed at all, so you will hear 'perfect' sound (depending upon speakers and hearing capability  ) and a far sharper picture (6x i think they say), but all this sexy technology aint going to work on your black and white wood TV, you need an HD-ready telly that can blast these extra pixels to the screen. kapiche? oh, and theyre expensive cos theyre new. they cost the same as what DVDs did when they came out!
  13. ok, my donation'll be in a test tube in tomorrows post ;)
  14. yeah, theyre wixid live   xxniUcTsQko&feature=related

  16. i neeeeed you i neeeeed you i neeeeed you on the flooooorrrrr (great chat-up line  ) i liked the first one they did best - ramp! the logical song - pure euro-style fast&furious music video. but tbh not quite my style - i like hi nrg dance and old skool rave, dont mind listening to a bit of scooter now and then tho :)

  19. ok following on from the 'would an aircraft take off if it was on a conveyor belt?' thread, i still cant get my head around how a car travelling along a road at 50mph could drive into a lorry (via its ramp) without shooting forward and through the front! fans of Knight Rider will know what i mean. those two chaps from mythbusters tried it themselves and proved that it does actually work and isnt a fake. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=dYlstdCWzCY&feature=related although interesting to watch, i dont think the guys explained it well enough for me to understand. the only thing i can think of is that once the rapidly-spinning tyre rolls onto the relationally stationary ramp, the wheels would lose all traction and skid - giving the driver enough time to hit the brakes. but in the clip above, we see the wheels just come to a stop all by themselves! and its not the driver braking cos the front wheels stop by themselves while the rear wheels are still doing 50mph. im confused and feel a little foolish :o
  20. wow! i was just checking out some others - this one is the top of a cylinder showing the intake/zorst valves, piston and spark plug!! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=cy_yaAOKjA8&feature=related

  22. did we come to any decision about the part-biofuel? were the comments about it being ok with pintleless injectors well founded? i passed by the BP and they had Ultimate back on tap so I might stop by tomorrow and get some 'ard stuff back in the tank :)
