i completely agree with your hatred of weapons Nick, and im sure you'll agree its not the weapon thats the danger, its the person using it. as mentioned above, a knife can be perfectly safe and have a propor use in one person's hand, yet used for stabbing or threatening in another's. i think the solution (which will probably never happen in our lifetimes) is to make crims terrified of committing crime. if they knew that upon being caught theyd be locked up for many years in a dirty overcrowded cell with nothing to do apart from stand with back to the wall in fear of their 'other' virginity, they might think twice. edit: i'm going to stop there ;)
