What did you do to your zed today?
I had a universal rubber seal put in, the fitter guy showed me three options that I could have, it took me ages to decide because they were different profiles and he kindly showed me each one in place, obviously with out bonding the glass. He said the nissan seal has to be ordered and cost a fortune and although the seal I decided to have is a bigger profile it's actually far better than the nissan part because water isn't going to sit in the bottom corners. I will take a picture tomorrow. National Windscreens £60

What did you do to your zed today?
Thanks. It's Aston Martin viper blue, has a nice tint to it in sunlight. I used Ross at the body shop in bowerhill Melksham. He sprayed my brothers 300 and was a really nice job. Unfortunatly I haven't been so luckily, although that's proberly my thought for putting the fibreglass wings on which are starting to crack and spider in places. Am Undecided about what to do with them at this stage. ( may put originals back on ). Still like to pop down Sometime to see your project if the offer is still open. Your only down the road.

Not to concerned about the targa glass, I like to leave my blinds in majority of time and obviously remove t- tops on sunny days. Have you replaced your t-top glass as well then?

That's funny just spoke to national windscreens today to get them to remove my rear glass for sprayer, at same time I'd thought I'll get a quote for replacing all glass in blue. £1000/ £1200 I was estimated. I think I know of a Uk 300 in a breakers yard with the blue glass, just hope it's all ok. Your right Si blue defiantly looks better more fresh and modern, and your car is looking good.

What did you do to your zed today?
Finally driving again after shattering my heel bone back in April mountain biking. Mot had run out so drove it to my local garage, passed with no advisories:biggrin: Off to spray shop friday to get tailgate glass removed and then damage from my spoiler removal sorted and hopefully get it back in time for Beaulieu.

Z32 NA clutch
I have a twin turbo with NA box that I put in with twin turbo lightened flywheel/ uprated clutch. Basically if you use a twin turbo clutch your need the flywheel also and this requires shimming the inside edge of the bell housing to suit the slightly larger diameter flywheel. If you speak to jeff at zedworld i think he can sort a clutch for an NA.

2014 work in progress
Nice work Jaffa and great pictures. Had a second 300 few years back intending to do similar, as coombe race track is just up the road thought it be fun to track day, but running a business and having young family and doing house up time just isn't available. I see your in Bath area so must be close to me, am about 2 mile from bathford/batheaston near Village of Box. Wouldn't mind having a look some time if that's ok, it might tempt me to find that extra time..,lol

- Japfest 2014......
myself and 3 0ther 300 arived in mini convoy just after 6.30, we were the first 300zx, drove straight in no problem. Weather wasn't all that bad odd heavy shower now and then but surprisingly sunny also. Unfortunately couldn't speak to everyone due to me having broken foot and hopping around on crutches and trying to miss the odd shower. Think I counted about 15 300zx so not bad considering, just a shame display area was not ideal IMO.- Fixing a pesky oil leak
Hopefully see you Saturday then, be arriving about 7ish, with two other zeds who aren't club members. We are all within about 10 mile of coombe so get abit of lie in.- Fixing a pesky oil leak
Hi Steve, that's not good sorry to hear it. I didn't use the gasket at all just the gasket sealant and all seems to be ok, just be aware that you have to get the bolts tightened up fairly quickly otherwise the sealant will dry and unlikely to seal as intended. Use the highest temperature gasket sealant you can get. - Japfest 2014......
