Then your problem is, since you got it from Dell, they install tons of crap on there, tons of software trials etc etc!! In my opinion its easier to wipe the laptop clean! Otherwise you will have to uninstall all of the trailware, and you will still be leave with crap on the system which you dont want!

For a start, running 64 processes would tell me he is running vista (he could be running xp, with alot of crap admittedly). As everyone knows, Vista runs 52 processes standard from a fresh install, unless you tweak it yourself and shut down services. So from those 64 bit processes, it would tell me he only installed 12 of those which comes down to the fact that he more than likely only needs to wipe of temp files, clear a few caches, fix the registry. That is why i said download Malware bytes. That good enough explanation? (Level 1 entry)
