What type of drive is it. Do you have a model number, also is it IDE (40 pin ribbon cable normally in a grey cable) or SATA (small red ribbon cable)

Nod32 is trash, it started off amazing, now its gotten extremely bad. 50% memory useage when downloading things, its always scanning, it just laggs the crap out of your computer, IMO use Avast its alot better, oh and its free.
