  1. http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z1205/default.aspx I prefer these performace figures!
  2. To be honest I am still learning all about them. I don't think you can go wrong using P1 figures to be honest though. I especially like 0-60mph 4.6 seconds:D Think I best try and quit using the boost though!
  3. I am talking bad! I put £60 in it the other day and thats not even lasted 200 miles and I have not even been thrashing it. This is prob 80% normal driving! Its only got a decat, panel filter and exhaust so not exactly heavily modded.
  4. You have no idea what a thirtsy car is till you have owned an Impreza STI! I thought my modified Zed was about as bad as cars got for fuel economy but how wrong one can be! My Scooby must go through fuel quicker than an Apollo space rocket! I just wish V-power would come back down to a half realistic price again.
  5. The piss up is just one of many things to be arranged. I think I will look after that bit and she can do the rest. What a plan!
  6. Just have to share my great news! Tonight I asked my girlfriend Seda if she would marry me and she said a great big YES! I am so happy it isn't true! :hyper: There will be no mention of "marriage forces reluctant sale" though! The Scooby is staying put. It has 4 doors and a big boot so what more could a woman want!:D Justin
  7. I used Gary Moulson @ Keith Micheals 0845 337 3380 Cover is spot on too;)
  8. Just posted on your thread you started mate. I can point you in the right direction Insurance wise as I have done the research. The higest quote I had was 2 grand but I ended up paying under £600 so might not be as bad as you think.
  9. Follow me and get a Scooby. I pay £595 for insurance fully comp and including mods. I am 31 with full NCB and its an STI 6 so not the cheapest Scooby to insure.
  10. Thanks again everyone! Glad to see most of you like it and all of you think its a good one! I have just blanked out my number plates on the advise of some of the lads from Surrey Scoobies. Link here - http://www.surreyscoobies.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=15794 Really quite scary what the scum are thhinking of nowadays to gte their grubby mits on our pride and joy! :nono: :smash:
  11. Thats superb aswell! LOL
  12. LOL, best take it easy then girl! I tell you what though, I would never have an Evo over my Scoob. To buy an Evo 6 with the mileage, age and condition as mine you would need to find an extra £6,000! If the Evo is superior in any way it certainly isn't six grand better!
  13. Cheers for the opinions guys, I love it to bits I must say. I do miss the Zed but after 4 years I really wanted a change of scenery. I will be interested to see what Sarah has to say about it though!
  14. Bloody hell Sarah! That sounds like a slightly complimentary word for Scoobies and Evo's! Are you feeling ok???!! LOL
  15. I only pay £595 on my WRX version 6 STI which is the Scooby equivalent of the Evo 6. Thats with all mods declared! :hyper: You just need to know where to go. I had mate who had an Evo 6 a few years back when he was about 26 and he paid a little over a grand back then but his was seriously modded. I will ask who he was insured with for you.
  16. Its been announced that the result is to be upheld. I am glad to be honest as I know Lewis would not like to win the title in such a fashion and it would be very much out of order on Kimi. Lets not drag this sport through any more crap this year!
  17. Not at all mate, To be honest I thought I would but I love the way the Scooby looks. It is not attractive like the Zed but it certainly has a purposeful look to it. Road presence is something that has really suprised me. I get loads more looks in this than I did in the Zed, especially from the girls. Had lots of smiles and waves last night! That boxer engine just sounds the nuts too! :hyper:
  18. Cheers! I was so chuffed when I first saw it and noticed just what good condition it was. It really does love going round corners although it has coilovers on it and they are set up about has hard as they go so will have to get them sorted for our bumpy British roads then it will be even quicker on the bends! It was hard to decide where to go after the Zed as I wanted something a bit different without forgoing any performance. It’s a little more practical too (I must be getting old!).
  19. I had to say goodbye to the zed after almost four great years and I miss it so much. It really did make my proud to see it there in my parking place every time I got home from work but alas I needed a change so here is the replacement........ It really does move like nothing I have ever driven and should be a little safer than the Zed once the winter weather sets in. Never thought Scooby's were quite as fun to drive as this!:D
  20. Carling Cup, Arsenal 1- Newcastle 0 And that was the so called B team!
  21. Really? Where do you find them then? I am interested!
  22. 6k is my absolute top limit I am afraid.
  23. I am thinking along the lines of going for a Scooby STI when someone buys my Zed as I want something super quick but practical. I don't know a huge amount about them other than being huge fun to drive and that the J-spec cars have loads more power. Its an old shape STI I would like to go for if possible (no references to GUM clinics please!) but I know specs were quite different between the STI 1 - 6. Anyone got any good links about Scoobs so I can do my homework? Cheers, Justin
