  1. hay guys the barings have gone on my idle/tension pully. dont know if theres more than one but the one i need is the one that keeps the oil pump belt under tention where is the best place to get a new one?
  2. yeh ive tryed the connections and nothing changed. i understand the wires have another connection between the door and the head unit so im gunna try them at the weekend. it only happens during hard cornering so im wondering if the speaker moves could the magnet be affected by the window mechanism? its screwed in realy tite but the door card may be flexing
  3. cheak the earths, mine did this and thats what it turned out to be
  4. this realy is strange, when cornering hard the sound from the speakers moves with the force of the cornering!!!! i have rockford fosgate 6x9s in the doors which as far as i can tell are fine apart from that and a rockford headunit the system is standard. this started few months after i installed the speakers so i dont think its anything to do with that, any ideas??????

  6. a de-cat system will give you more power but the lack of back presser will shorten the lifespan of the turbo. however, i hear that a screemer pipe gets round this problem and lets the turbo kick in sooner
  7. if its the godspeed rad i have one and its is a good unit but i think its slightly smaller than the koyo one. you shouldnt have to pay inport duty but be carefull coz i had to at 1st but then found i didnt

  9. ive heard that removing the rubbers works just as well but id rather do the lift, or both!
  10. i have the new hks s-series plugs and they seem to be working fine. as far as i remember they are made by ngk

  13. hi guys gt on the motorway 2day and realised the needle on the temp gage was bouncing up to the normal temp possion and the stone cold possion, when i got to work n parked it started working properly could this be the sender unit? and how hard is it to change? dnt think the amb sencer is working properly ether bt dont think its related, can anyone help?
  14. am i right in thinking that the rear breaks are the same on the tt and n/a? i know the frount disks are wider on the tt but not sure about the rears
  15. hi guys ive played around with it and all seems fine now, the garage didnt put the bottom hose on properly so it was loosing water 1ce the presser built up and i played around with the fan and top hose. only thing is the temp gauge was reading nearly normal when i went to move it at work yesterday, about 2 n harf hours after parking, think it could be faulty? no i didnt put the shroud back on by the way thanks agen guys, big help :bow: :bow: :bow:
  16. the fan is triggerd by a heat switch in the top hose, im gunna have another play around with it today so il let you know how i get on, thanks for your help :D
  17. hi guys, my zeds been overheating cince i swaped the engine and im running out of ideas on what it could be, its had a godspeed tt rad (the cars n/a) new cilican hoses z-center electric fan kit as well as a new water pump and thermerstat. ive bled the system several times so dont think its an air lock and im sure everythings plumed in properly, the temp gage reads half way between hot and cold but the fan kicks in after a few miles and the engine does seem to be hot, anyone got any ideas? thanks :confused:
  18. thanx guys il give it a try :bow:. dont think thers any noise like that but i have have got a rattle that sounds like a stone stuck in a bake bean tin lol it gets faster with the revs but thats prob another lil problem for me 2 slove lol
  19. hi guys, im havin problems with my n/a z32 overheating its only started cince ive had the engine swaped but im sure its all plumed in rite. if i keep it under 3000 rpm it runs at the rite temp unless i turn the engine off 4 a short time, like getin fuel, and if opened up it gets hot as well. the only original parts of the system are the thermastat which i think it could be and the pump it may be an air lock but im not sure how to bleeed it to check. if it helps ive got a tt rad, cilicone hoses and an electric fan kit any help would be grate as this is 1 of the last little problems ive gotta sort to get it running spot on , cheers

  21. could you have cracked the screen wash bottle? mine had a clear goo in it a few months ago try the washers if you get a slime come out or nothing at all it could be that. if not ive got a ghostbusters dvd u can borrow lol
  22. :rant: just tryed to fit some high flow headers, whitch were suposed to be direct fit, but the lamber sencer housing on the drivers side is to tite against the stearing colloum. would it matter if they are mounted in the middle pipe insted? the car has a de-cat pipe but im not sure if the sencers have to be in a certain place. :confused: thanks guys
