Around a week or so ago i put my accelerated hard causing my zed to shoot the dip stick out and spray oil everywere. Also to cause a vast amount of bluish smoke to come from exhaust. When i say vast, its BAD!!!!! After speaking to various people it was decided that psv valves may be blocked. I changed them. No difference. First the smoke was oil and now its just smoke from unburnt fuel. I first thought piston rings gone but now its running on 5 cyl. Looking at the plugs one was wet with fuel. Could this be the dreaded burnt out valve or is there other things to check. cheers all :cry:

Well, its happend :cry: what a week i have just had. First my wife (soon x) and kid left me on friday to go and live in uk. Then the next day i got stopped for speeding by the German police, then the Zed decided to throw a piston ring. To make things worse 2 days later i got speed flashed in Holland and just to finish it off i have been told im going to Afganistan on monday FFS :cry: :cry: I know there are people worse off than me but dont you ever feel like the world is against you :rant: :headvswal

There are many small fuel feed pipes around the plenum area and under the throttle cover. I had smells a few years back. All i did was one morning before i started the engine up i put a small sprinkle of talc powder on the fuel lines and then started it up. Where the powder showed damp i then tightend the clip. Plus it smelt better :)

Dipone bud, ive got the same problem on mine at the moment. Somtimes on tickover it will smoke then other times it doesnt. Also ive got a strong smell of unburnt fuel (running rich). Ive got to get consult on it to see if its PCV valves. Dont panic yet LOL

I cant believe that i come across one for £25 the other month. I didn't realise these knobs were so rare.

FFS, typical i arrive saturday. Remember last year, it lashed it down on the sunday. All that was left was Vinz in his 1 man tent in the corner pi##ed. WHAT A MEMORY LOL

Its been hot over here for 2 weeks now and getting hotter. The heat is different though, not soooooooooo sticky like uk. Comin back for JAE though!!
