Original exhaust on my 1989 import zed has given up the ghost! What are reasonably priced replacements? Dont want anything noisy just close to standard . Thanks

Anyone been required to have a vehicle inspected prior to a reg transfer being approved?

Looking for day insurance or several days to take my sorned Z for MOT- all my google searches have declined me probably because of the Zed I reckon. Any recommendations? Thanks

My Zed is a 1989 TT auto- now back on road after having been stood- runs fine etc but I have a paint? issue. The paint or powder coating has started to fail on the targa edges, the 3 inch approx piece of trim to the rear of the targas & on the stipp down the 'A' pillars leaving chrome on view. What fixes are available for this- any advice most welcome.

Now withdrawn on Ebay- his brother lied to him apparently.

Looked fine as less than 7000 miles since last change but I've got peace of mind & if I come to sell it's a good selling point!

Have had Timing Belt & ancilliaries & water pump changed locally by garage that seem to want to tackle proper work- job is fine. However, just looked at owner's Manual 8-5 ' Replace timing Belt every 100,000 km /60,000 miles - no mention of months/years !! better safe than sorry though!

Will probably come along- there used to be a meet at Cheshire Lounge pub on A556 ( 2 miles from tatton Park) - pub closed now- does the meet exist elsewhere?

When is Preston meet ? Not sure if mine would be up to standard but be good to meet other owners!

Given the 100% agreement of the members, can anyone recommend a mechanic in the Bolton area ( within 20 miles?) to do the job & what is it likely to cost- including water pump & ancillaries? Many thanks!
