  1. Youl be out of there in no time matey. Get well soon. James.
  2. does tht mean we will have tiny little wheels now? like 12 inches?
  3. yeah but its suppose to be int there. what happens if it dislodges and gets sucked into a turbo?
  4. how the hell would ya fit them? and i think the outer wall of the tyre will probably be filled in with outher rubber just so you cant see through it and maybe for more security.
  5. i have been ready for this anyway :) i wanna get a full rebuild sooner or later once all the other things i want are done :) i thought a sign of turbos on their way out would be smoke on idle?
  6. so why the hell is there a silly wire cleaner in there? it looked really bodge. and so that hose shouldnt hav a restricter in it?
  7. different fuel mapping for one.
  8. Getting dreaded blue smoke and there is oil in my passenger side intercooler pipe, not just a little bit but alot in there. Now i changed all the pcv hoses and cleaned the pcv valves which seem to open and close when i blow through them so they seem fine for a while. when i replaced the pcv hoses i also replaced the ristriction spacers in each hose apart from the front passenger side hose as there wasnt one in there to begin with, but i did find the end of a wire cleaner that someone must hav snapped in there without realising, duhhhh to whoever did that. could this be giving me smoke out the exhaust when i come off the throttle arfter a couple seconds of boost? i get no smoke whatsoever on idle or when reving in nutral, neither do i get smoke with normal driving? Ive still got plenty of power BUT the stock oil guage reads quite low on idle when warm? There is no exhaust smoke when i take off the oil cap either. once last thing is i still have the rear main oil sill to replace which is leaking quite nicely onto the whole length of the exhausts but thats being fixed when my clutch arrives seen as the box has to come off anyway. Any suggestions welcome.
  9. Check the fuel lines under the bonnet they are mainly on the nearside. they loosen and often need tightening. mine used to smell and noticed fuel coming out of a fuel line just of the regulator.
  10. i bought them seond hand from james funga for 550 quid.
  11. haha it wasnt fun. i looked under the drivers side footwell for the ecu instead of the passenger and when i saw a black box with loads of wires coming out i thought vola. i thought it was strange why the air con unit wasnt working afterwards. i soon swapped them round. lets just say i now how a socketed aircon unit ;)
  12. ;) cheers mate. how are them wheels holding out? did ya go for a drive?
  13. is it a porsche is it a ferrair is it an aston martin no its supera. :) liking that alot :)
  14. yeah i chipped my aircon ecu by accident haha. what a donut i am, but i managed to refit the old one ;) then solder the chip in the correct ecu.
  15. Thanks for the compliments guys :) im very happy with them
  16. they aint going no where yet ;) and one of the wheels has just been fixed coz i kerbed it, so that one looks mint. but the other could do with a refurb but look good once cleaned up.
  17. Correct, nice fella too. took ages to change them round as we only brought one jack. I want £350 for the old wheel but i got to clean them first they are a state :)
