I got all the parts and left them in the boot for him. looking good so far only just dropped it to him. Had a spot of bad luck, when i went to park the car next to his garage it wouldnt go inreverse doh. but i thinks only minor :(

Its because i have a big spacer and there is not enough thread sticking out of wheel once on. so not enough of the bolts thread istouching the stud. So everytime i take off a bolt on the front wheels they wobble off unevenly and when trying to retighten them they just turn, i think its also to do with the bolts being aluminium they are very weak. but better the bolts being weak than the studs. Anyway Thats why i mentioned fitting longer threads above :)

Yes thread size mario.... but i think it must be the nissan size from the drop down menu on driftworks... but i need to be sure.

If you say it starts missing when warm it could be the ptu..... they tend to fail and brake up inside due to excess heat.... Next time it does it try dabbing the ptu with a damp cloth to cool it down and see if there are any changes.

Tokico make very good shocks. I havent used them myself but have heard good things of them. I think andyp has a set on his blue zed and he knows his stuff.

If it was clutch/release bearing/linkage related it would have probs with other gears but it doesnt, its only reverse so its probably something internal which is not fun at all.

It doesnt grind, it just wont budge.... Im hoping to god its just jammed or something is stuck or a link is bust.....

Ok today i fitted my powertrix tension rods and all was jolly.... the last of my suspenison mods are done, so it was time to take the zed to nexus for my rebuild woohooo. I arrive there just outside and say high to scott, "HI" I atempt to park the car and throw it in reverse but :eek: NOPE :headvswal doesnt wanna go in reverse now:( bugger.. scott says he will have a look at the box when its out, but we both know its buggered. So now im on the look out for a used manual box. I was a bit shocked and confused as ive not had any probs with reverse before and this was a first. all other gears are fine..... Its a bit strange isnt it? Anyways the show must go on so everything is still underway.

Mate if it was that place in scotland called alloywheelrepairs with the website wth pics of the repaired wheels..... i had a wheel repaired by them...... it took 2 BLOODY LONG MONTHS.... i wasnt happy but fook it i just sold the wheels on afterwards the re[air job looked ok but wasnt polished very well. i dont care now anyway. Yes the customer service was very poor i rang them once a week sometimes i couldnt get through for days. But when i finally got through it was like they had forgoten who i was everytime i had to remind then and it was frustrating.... kept getting the same thing "we are working on it at the mo"

its still a cv joint or whatever you wanna call it with a gaitor boot on each end of the drive shafts so if the rubber splits and all the grease leaks out you can say goodbye drive shaft.

yep rose joints are what ya need if ya suspension is aftermarket ei lowered. the standard/poly dont have enough twist at that geometry so instead of the bush twisting the bottom arm tries to twist but it cant so it brakes of instead. Im fitting rose joint adjustable 2mow morn soon as i wake up and have my tea:D I writen this same post about 10 times in the last week......
