yep. Your mad if you think you can just turn up the boost without changing the fueling youl have a lean mixture which will increase combustion temp, the possibility of det and if not straight away then quickly wear your rings.

maf could be faulty then..... maybe give it a clean with intake cleaner but be gentle.. and take off the wire connector maybe its dirty with loads of green muck on it.

That sounds about right... ive read a previous post where someone was having the same problem, problem was solved when the induction was relocated with the plastic guard underneath the filter acting as a reflector.

I managed to get the night off work.... I wanna rent a movie and test out my new blue ray and 5.1 surround system. What film would you reccommend watching thats for rental at present? Action/thriller/horror?

On standard tubs he can run a max of 15psi after that they will just be superheating the air, the bigger injectors will supply more than enough fuel with the correct ecu. With oem internals i wouldnt run more thn 14psi for reliability and id think about aftermarket intercoolers. with all that lot high 300's are possible

Im sure he meant standard internals. like pistons/rods. and maybe oem tubs. hense him writing, "the highest i can go" meaning how much can i increase the power whilest retaining reliability on standard engine internals.
