Id recommend changing the wire loom i bet they are all corroded especially the injector and coil plug connectors, that will make your car run like a dog. What about suspension? new bushings? drive chain? gearbox oil prop bearing, all them little things

Isnt it either the fuel regulator or the ecu? change your ecu back to the original if that doesnt work then fit a used regulator, im sure there are loads abouton here... isnt snoopy selling one?

check all the wires coming out of the air con ecu box that they are all plugged in. the box is under the dash left of the clutch.
