I did mine :D You have to have a spanner on each end of the rack, one will loosen off first, then you must undo the remaining one by gripping one end of the rack while using a spanner to undo the remaining one on the other side of the rack, sorry im not very good at explaning.

for the aircon it may be that your air mix motors are unplugged or one of the air con ecu senors are unplugged check under dash.

Me too im bit confused, hopefully someone will post something to ease our minds. So if you try and fit the new arms with both sides parallel will they fit on your suspension correctly? is it possible that your car had a front smash and bent both arms evenly or something... too be honest im baffled, get a pic of both bent arms and see if they are evenly bent?

But isnt it strange that both arms are bent like that? And look at the L mark in the middle of the arm it looks like its straight? But yeah they prob are bent.

erm. I just edited my post coz i wasnt 100% sure... My arms were straight like the left hand arm. Am i correct in saying the middle one has been bent by hitting a kerb? or are NA top arms this shape? I have fitted adjustable and there were put on nice and straight.

Ah mate thats a killer. Well if it still wont budge then take the shock off completly, just undo the top shock mount nuts and the botom nut and bolt then take it off. You will prob have to undo the shock, take the spring out then work on the adjusters in a vice or just brake/saw the old adjuster rings off and fit new ones. But clean the thread up with a wire drill piece and keep them greased or you will be looking at round 2 :(

Well thats the proper way to rid of the fluid and it wont make a mess, you also avoid leaving air in the system. would be good to flush it out and refill if its old anyway.

or just release one of the bleed nipples at the rear on the hicas rack and pump it out, but then youl need to bleed it again.
