I was hoping somone would say they have bought one :) How long did it take to arrive? Thinking of getting it before xmas if possible. I would like a retrim on my seats but can't justify the price and like you say if it feels okay and looks good it will do for me lol! Any colour advice? I was thinking red trim with black leather seats. Talking of seats etc is there any way to repair leather seats? I have a chance to buy some locally but the drivers and passengers are badly worn. Scratches, tears you name it, its got them :) He wants £150 which is a lot but its the first time I have seen any for sale near me. Are these leather repair kits any good? Cheers for the link

Have you got a link for the trim kit m8? I can only find the dash trim kit I will have to have a look at zcentre decats as it might be a better investment. Like you say the car can get a drone inside the car. Its alright around town but as soon as you sit at around 60 - 70 the drone is unbearable. Thats why I got a good sound system to drown it out lol! Hi, I have been thinking of buying a interior trim kit to replace my tweed. The long term plan is to change the tweed panels for red and then black leather seats in the future. If I can find any that aren't ripped :cool: My question is where can I buy the trim panel kit? I remember them being on ebay a few months back for around £60 but haven't seem them again. Also are the decats on ebay any good for n/a car? The seller is 2fast2cool from memory. Now my car is loud :) so is it going to be undriveable and will I get pulled by the cops for any reason. Its a pre 92 car so mot doesn't matter im just thinking the noise lol! My car has been known to set car alarms off when I start it and make people jump in the car park lol! Any advice welcome trim pic below

LOL! :rofl: I told him to buy a RX7 or even a supra but no :) GTO or nothing He thought it might have been the head gasket and would you believe the set is around £600 and that was the cheapest :cry: Got the engine out or part of it anyway and oh dear! Its been tampered with before :cry: Has had a new head gasket before so it looks like its the cylinders. He is positive its not the torque converter as the car was driven for 80 miles!

He did think of a torque converter but hopes to god it isn't! Will try and get on the gto forum and hope its simple fingers crossed. If you keep the revs high while in drive the engine still works and can be driven around but as soon as you stop its gone. Cheers for the link

My dad has always wanted a GTO ever since they were new and since I got my zed it made it worse lol! Anyway he went and bought a 92 n/a auto last sunday with tax and mot for £362 good old ebay :) It was advertised as having a head gasket gone as it overheats. My dad is a mechanic by trade and has fixed loads of small problems it had but it still has a major problem. When idleing its fine but as soon as you engage drive the revs drop to about 600 and the car dies :cry: Anyone own a GTO on here or have any advice? He doesn't want to pay a load of money if its a simple thing

Well I managed to get a twin pillar pod off ebay for £30 which I thought was a bargain :) So do I need mechanical or electrical gauges?

Hi, Im thinking of buying either the 6 Pot Dash Pod MK1 or Pillar Pod. My question is how much work is involved in fitting either of these? Do you need to cut the dash or anything/ Also do you use mechanical or electrical gauges in a Z? I drive a non turbo so are there enough gauges to use the 6 Pot Dash Pod MK1? Any help appreciated!

Thanks for the nice comments :duffer: To be honest I have never liked the front bumper but it came with the car and I added the rest of the kit to match. Im going to change it soon and was wandering what people would think looks best or go well with the rest of the car? I was thinking of getting the border bumper,
