Navan auto shifter help
I fitted a navan auto shifter the other day and it looks great. The only problem is im not sure if my overdrive switch is working. It was easy to fit with just a small connector and job was done. I tried the gears up and down before I fitted all the surround back but didn't check the overdrive. When I click the overdrive the light isn't coming on on the dash! My next problem is I have no insurance at the moment so I can't go down the road and check if its working or not :headvswal Can it just be the light isn't working but the overdrive is or could it be the switch in the knob itsself? Not to fussed if the light works or not as long as the overdrive does. Any ideas? Don't really want to take all centre console out again!

Do you have to have a specific car kit? If I was to buy one from a toyota would it fit a nissan like universal? Cheers for the driftworks link

Are they easy to use and fit? Is it more of a case of being sensible and not an idiot lol!

In car gadgets
What does an apexi-multichecker do? Also I suppose like most apexi stuff its not available anymore? I have a pillar pod on the right for two gauges so far but I was thinking of getting the one that goes under radio hole. Are things like apexi safc, hks afc and hks air fuel ratio regulator any use? Would I not see the benefits in a na car? Cheers for the ideas

In car gadgets
I was in my m8 lancer the other day and he has gauges and pods everywhere. To much to be honest lol! Anyway I was wandering if there is anything like that you can buy for a na zed? Obviously boost gauges are out but do things like air fuel ratio meter or apexi afc devices work with a na? Cheers

I have started work on my car now so should be back on the road in 2-3 weeks. p.s How heavy is the old rubber spoiler lol! Took it off yesterday and my boot stays up now

Omg!!!!!
Well I rang a few yesterday and basically nearly all of them said no. Basically my age was the problem like someone said earlier. So my problem is this, Do I insure the zed and enjoy the next few months but it costs me to much? Or wait till july and then insure it when im 25 and hopefully be cheaper? But I will probably miss summer this way as its normally nice between may and july. Thats summer lol! Also if I wait till july that means I haven't driven my car for 11 months which is killing me :headvswal I have few to ring yet but my best so far is the intial £950 renewal I had in august. If I ring them and they tell me its gone up  Cheers for the numbers

Omg!!!!!
Cheers Will give them a ring

Omg!!!!!
I think I asked for classic car before but got a no because of my age. I remember one guy told me my car isn't a classic and only english cars like MG etc are classics lol! Is there an age restriction for classic car policy?
