GPS Speed? How accurate?!
Yeah that's what i always thought, I drive my boss's Mondeo a lot and when your sat at 70 cars are still flying past. I know my speed sensor plays up everytime it rains or it's wet, the power steering goes heavy and the speedo just sits at 0mph.. Maybe it's all realated somewhere and the dash isn't getting enough signal???

GPS Speed? How accurate?!
Had to travel to Bath the other day to visit my bro and decided to borrow a tom tom gps from work.. Had it set to show my speed and to my amazement when my speedo was reading 60, the tom tom showed I was doing 76Mph. When I was doing 70 the tom tom showed 89Mph!! Even worse we're I would normaly cruise at 80 on a duel carrage way or motor way the tom tom showed 106Mph!! I know i've got 18" rims on the back so can appreciate the rolling radius will afect the in car speedo to a certain extent but this is way out!! No wonder when I was sticking at 70 and the police pulled me recently when it was wet to inform we I was border line to weather they would have me or not, now it all makes sense! Just wondering if it under reading till it gets to a certain speed then corrects it's self but the needle seems to be loosing a few MPH the faster I go! Just makes me think now the times I have done 120, 130 or even 140 what speed the Z was actually doing... Scary....

New Digital Camera Wanted
Mike, based on what I sell I would choose anything in the Sony Cybershot range anyday... I get to play with all the latest models on a day to day basis and find the Sony's first of all the most user friendly as are The Panasonic Lumix range and also the Sony's have got a really fast processor so when your taking those fast moving objects like Z'eds passing by for example, from the time when you press the shoot button down it near Instantaneously takes the photo, ie bugger all shutter lag!! It is milliseconds literally! Another good reason is the Carl Zeiss hand polished lenses so colour come out accurate and detail is supurb... It's not all about Mega Pixels with digital camera's, the Lens is the most important factor and this is why you see some cheap cameras under £100 boasting 8 Mega pixels... Crap lenses on them though and lots of shutter lag and not very user friendly!!! The last thing to considder is battery life... Choose one with a lithium ion battery as these will last a hell of a lot longer than AA's... People argue with me that ifd your on holiday and your batt runs out what do you do, with AA you just go to a shop!! Well a Lithium Ion is good enough for a days shooting and you can charge it up in your hotel room or find a PC with a USB port and charge it from that! :D Hope this helps!!

Overboost Problem!
Thanks very much for your help everyone but after inspecting the pipes tonight found out that instead of 1.00mm jets being in there ontop of the 0.8mm ones the original jets we're 0.8mm!!! So 2x jets in each pipe!! I know it shouldn't effect boost seeing as both holes are the same size but like znut says they can vary although they looked the same!! The thing obviously got to a point where it was boosting soo much!! Also had a slight cut in my vaccume pipe leading to the boost sensor so replaced that and now I get an accurate boost reading and no engine stalling when pulling up at a junction! Thanks very much again guys! ;)

Overboost Problem!
Hi, wonder if anyone can help me? Been having a strange problem lately ever since upgrading my 1.0mm boost jets to 0.8 ones... My Z is running hybrid Turbo's based on HKS 2530's so gives more airflow at 9psi than stock turbo's would and also running and Andy P stage 2 chip on stock injectors with a Blitz SUS airfilter... The problem i'm getting is a bit intermittent.. When I bury my foot in the carpet, the boost rises on my aftermarket guage to 1Bar and sometime the whole car will just cut out a bit like a fuel cut type scenario.. I've also tried nailing it also from 4000Rpm thinking it might of been a det sensor problem but it will still sometimes cut out... I'm not getting det by the way but just tried this as another check... Has my aftermarket chip got a fuel cut safety feature we're if it detects too much boost it cuts out and if so we're can I get one that will eliminate this problem.. Just to add when the Z does cut out you can still drive normally again without any problems! Guess what i'm asking is I wanna chip that will let me run with the 0.8mm jets without cutting out! Or if you guys have also has this problem whats the solution to correct it without going back to the 1.0mm jets?? Could it also maybe an airfilter problem through the vented nose panel??? Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks guys!

What tyres do you find the best for your zed and why
Flaken 452's 245 on front at 285 on rear... Excellent price and ware rate, used to have falken 451's and they lasted me 3 years and thats with some heavy driving! 452's are well grippy and lot better than the Toyos T1's I was running before... Same grip level but the Toyos ware rate ran out quiet quickly...
