I'd prob say the first one mate as the one I got from Halfrauds has an outer diameter of 25mm and just covers the hole by 1mm but the first ebay item you've listed looks like it will do nicely seeing as the outer diameter is larger! I'll give it a go and let you know!

No 20mm is not the right size! Got one of those and it just fell through, to small! Went to Halfrauds today and the do a 25mm one which just sits on there but still to small for my liking as the end of the bung only gives you literally 1mm coverance of the hole... I think 30mm would be the right size but places like Halfrauds and B&Q don't sell them... Gonna have to try a local plumbing merchants i think...

Ok then so does anyone know what effect your back box can have on performance then?? Is it a case of the less silencing you've got and more straight through from the turbo's down the better the performance gain or would it be better having a bigger rear silencer that still gives a nice note but quieter... Ie HKS Super Dragger Big Can or HKS Hyper Muffler, noiser less silencing?? Someone please help for a change mine back to my older quieter mongoose system and make a big mistake!! :confused:

Mine is stupidly loud... I love it at full chat when I'm on one but wish I had a button to make it quiet when driving through built up areas... I don't really wanna piss people off with it but needs must 'eh! Was almost thinking of putting my old Mongoose system back on but then it would be too quiet for me... Need an inbetween noise really!

Excellent link this as I'm gonna get rid of my rear wiper soon... If you look at all the other sporty stuff out there, Aston Martin's, Ferrari, New Nissan GTR they don't have a rear wiper... Would save some weight too and bring the 300 more up to date...

So it's better to fill up early in the morning and only just squeeze the fuel trigger lightly to get the most petrol you can??!! :confused:

Fair play Lisa it's your car and up to you how you choose to style it! Just be careful though, if you get caught by the Police they can do you for having washer lights... There have been a few people pulled round our way now by the Police and once caught they actualy snip the wires leading to the lights which there allowed to do... You've been warned!!!

But yours looks so nice already in Red Kev, one of the best finishes i've seen on a Red Z.... The satin look is awesome but just worried you may regret it once it's done...

Drove my brothers 2004 E46 M3 last summer and what a car! Felt very much like my Z just not with quiet as much power or torque but then ny Z is putting out over 400BHP and think his M3 is 343Bhp or something... Good car though and I'd def have one if I didn't have my Z!

Maguires Mit and 2 buckets... Don't even use car shampoo anymore as it takes off the polish... Good tip and didn;'t belive it till i tried it.. Was with shampoo to get rid of all the dirt initially... Then polish your Zed using autoglym super resin, then next time the cars dirty just wash it with a mit and water... The water and dirt will just beed off! The trouble with shampoo is when you've polished it and then wash it again with car shampoo, it takes off the polish... Just water for me and it looks stunning! :D
