  1. I siliconed it up and i still have a leak. i gave it at harsh spray with a pressure hose to see where it is and it appears i have 2 leaks i think it's coming in on the join where targa rubber sits with the rubber which wraps around the targa and down the pillar on the corner. Really starting to get annoying as it's soaked.
  2. Oh that's brilliant thanks, i know exactly which bit you mean now. I i remember correctly that is all flappy and loose. I will get the silicone gun out on that tomorrow if it's dry out there. Thanks.
  3. haha my willie keeps leaking. I will check those rubber block thingys if i can work out which ones they are, don't suppose you have a pic? I did atempt repairing the leak but not fully assembling the targa as i wanted to retrim it, e.g. not putting the end caps back on and the fabric thingy doo dar but i don't think that is the cause that being missing not unless the end caps are actually functional.
  4. I keep getting a very wet drivers seat. There is a leak some where and i can't find it. So annoying.
  5. am i correct in saying that changing the oil in a car will give it more bhp anyway if the oil has been in there a lil while
  6. D2 and Ksport are sister companies and sell the same products, only difference is the brand and Ksport is orange. Ksport is also cheaper than D2 so gve them a try. Jaffa has some (the other Jaffa lol)
  7. The Race Logic is meant to be the better one on the market. Andy do you think it's any good?
  8. Anyone got one of these?? Sound really good for recording G's, BHP, 0-60 etc. here it is
  9. Am i correct in saying the Stillen one does not fit a RHD Zed as it's angles for a left hooker, the one to get is made by "Central 20" the one on the greenline link a few pages back, apparently looks like it was stock. There used to be someone who done a similar one on here as a trader, 300zxstyling or somthing like that. Think that was a Niztek one.
  10. i personally prefer the 360 but the ps3 is better value for money. the 360 has many more games availible as where the PS3 has better graphics and full of nice features. don't be fooled by the lower cost of the 360!! PS3 has 3 times the size HD, Is also a blueray player, wireless internet as standared, Free playstation network etc. etc.
  11. It is a twin Axle (4 wheels). Nope i've had quotes on renting the usual type trailer for £33 but no other than them ones. Yeah, that's a real bum as it would of been ideal for the height of the car. but..... i have now raised the height of the front which hopfully will make it a easier job. Haha, yeah i could pull that off but my Rac has expired and isn't going to be renewed until start of next year.
  12. I think i mean the angle sensor, sounds like it could be it lol, Guess i'll refit that then and fit the correct boss so i can use the horn again, well that's when i fit another horn as mine commited suicide on a bumpy road.
  13. lol they all sound so expensive. I've called the trailer man i usually use and said does he have anything more suitable, we then come to the conclusion i was perhaps using a suitable trailer but loading it wrong. This is what i was doing. We were leaving the trailer hitched to the van, commont sense would tell you to remove the trailer as then you could rotate the rachet lowering the wheel and pushing the rear down making a smaller gradient, i never done it that way before and left it hitched to the van as i assumed it would be un stable and tip onto the back wheels when putting the car onto the trailer. Is the above correct?
  14. exactly, and i also have a big front mount. Are car dolly any good? also known as a tow dolly. Theses are the funny lil things you sit the front wheel in and the rear wheels make contact with the road, could be a solution. but then where can you hire one from in norwich doh!!
  15. Well today i thought i would swap the wheels over, well why did i bother??? one of the nuts were cross threaded when put on and when un-doing the bloody bolt snapped off within the nut. I'm really not having much luck with this car. I hope my luck changes for week when it goes in to be mapped and finished off.
  16. I need to put the Z on a trailor again but this time it's loads lower than before and the time before it went on was a complete disaster so not sure how i'm going to tackl it this time around.
  17. one thing to add to this though, if you don't fit the hicas hub the horn then wont work as it works off the hicas, i'm sure you may be able to bodge it some how but it will twist a cable all over the place.
  18. be careful as my bank always send me blank cheques and once cashed you get the money but it's actually a very high interest lone, very naughty but they would normally come with paper work and letter heads etc. Also i know of someone who bumed up their tax forms and the goverment gave them a big rebate but once cashed the goverment realised it was a bum up and said we want the money back and they had a pooie hefty tax each month off their salary to make up for it. but once again there would be some kind of explination with it. Possibly some sort of joke??
  19. I've ordered 2 boss kits now for my TT and they are really difficult to fit and never sure how they actually go on, should be a easy job. I have always asked the question is the kit for a Hicas 300zx and with a yes every time. Well anyway the 2nd one i ordered i thought the fitting of it was random, i had to remove the hicas bit on the steering wheel, it's a really good fit apart from that. one niggly thing is the horn wouldn't connect up because the way it connects from the Hicas. Anyway i thought 2 boss kits now different brands and the same thing both times so this is how they must be. Well anyway i was sitting at work one day and a parcel turned up, what was it?? another boss kit. I never ordered one lol. when i opened it, the design was totally different but the same brand as the other one soooo..... i assumed they realised the bummed up and sent me the wrong one. So what do i do now??? Keeping in mind i don't have Hicas anyway but i havn't actually started the car since i fitted the other one which involved removing the hicas part of the sterring thingy. Do i leave it as it is or...... refit the hicas stuff and fit the correct boss?? the other boss fit fine but just curious if i actually need the hicas bit although the hicas has now been eliminated. p.s. i don't have a horn anyway, weighs too much
  20. haha yup, although the polar bear prob would fire us before we even got half way there.
  21. Anyone watching it??
  22. omg i really hate this country, someone please tell me this is a late april fool joke lol.
