  3. I read somewhere that to get optimum tyre pressure for dragging, you should do a series of burnouts. Inbetween each burnout you should drop the pressure in each tyre until you get the widest tread mark! Pete

I've got a picture of when i was last under me car, but you cant really see Anything. I'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong but im fairly sure its the tubular (about an inch diameter) bar that is sat behind the bottom radiator hose (when underneath and looking forwards). You'll need to get the undertrays off to be able to see it. Sorry if that aint any help. Pete
  5. i dunno m8. The traders here are mainly Z32 specific, but they do offer discounts over there RRP. Smithy for instance does huge discounts on his engine bits, if you're a member, and he also sells other (non z32) products, but whether your membership here would give you a discount on those i dunno! There are several non-owners on here and they seem to get on fine. And if you're planning on gettin a Z i would say join up it really is worth it for the advice which will be same here or in OZ!! Pete
  6. £20. Payable by cheque/paypal Gives you access to private forums, Group buys (stoopidly cheap stuff on there and well worth the £20 sub alone), The wealth of knowledge from the long standing members (this will save shed/zed loads in the long run)....errrr im pissed at the mo so cant think of nething else, but i will say that i have already saved fluff loads more than the sub fee from the advice i have received from here! :D Pete
  7. WARNING THERE MAYBE NO POINT TO THIS POST I have just done a search on threads being locked...... (yes im that bored :D ) I would like to say there is no way I would volunteer to be a moderator on this board. Dont get me wrong, for the majority of the time this place is sound with good advice and friendly banter, but there is also something weird that i have never seen on any other forums that I visit (I guess it's something to do with it being a fairly close knit club..I dunno?) and that is the reoccuring theme of threads being locked for whatever reason and then you get a load of fuss about said thread being locked etc. (I think i'll call it the Groundhog day effect :D or maybe it's just a big fluffing glitch in the matrix ) I can't see any good to come out of this. Yes i do agree that everyone has a right to there opinion, but to rehash the same old arguments isnt going to help anyone let alone the club. The only real bit of advice (which has been said countless times before) i have to say is if you have a problem with a post/thread being locked/deleted then any discussion/arguments should be kept private, between you and the mod and if you have a problem with the mod, mail one of the others. Thanks for listening :D Pete

  21. Where do i start? Well i have been sorting out a coolant leak for a while now so the Z has been sat on our car park for a week or so. I have removed the front bumper and headlight panel (as you might guess) However the other day/night it pished down and i had forgotten to cover up the pipes indicated! I dont know how much rain got in, but i would say a fair amount did. Does anyone know if this is going to cause me problems or is there a drainage point somewhere? Cheers, Pete
