I noticed the goose after i fitted my apexi induction kit, don't know if they are related. I'll be fixing it with some dump valves when i get the money :cool:

Just joined bikerclub! looks good! I also got GPX600R as part of the bargain which just needs a few bits doing before being sold. Then i've just got to decide which Z to spend money on!! :dance:

Took an 11 hour round trip to pick it up, but i got there in the end! OK not a Z32 but a ZZR600 so technically still a Z :tongue: I love it! Now all i need is my license :wack:

If all things go well i'll be picking up my new Z later on this morning! Will post pics when i have them! :dance: :dance:

After having my car off the road for over a year now i decided today's the day to finnish fitting smithy's stainless rad and hard pipe kit + get her ready for an MOT! All was going fine, just bleeding the cooling system of air, when there was a big whoosh and what looked like steam blasting out from the front engine bay area, near the bottom, on the passenger side. I quickly turned the engine off and the "steam" died down and stopped within 5 seconds or so. After a minute i decided to see if i could locate the leak exactly so turned engine back on. It started "steaming" straight away so got down to have a look! Couldn't find the leak, but on the floor was a strange, to me ;), liquid. A kind of thick, clear, syrupy oil which had hundreds of tiny bubbles in it. Im fairly certain this isn't coolant as the stuff i put in is green and the water level hasnt dropped. I'm guessing it's air con related, but i don't really know. Has anyone had anything similar happen, i searched the forums, but came up with nowt! If it is air con does anyone know of a faq/tutorial for removing the whole system? Cause i never use it. (that might have something to do with it being off the road though :smash: ) All help hugely appreciated. Cheers Pete

Is it possible for any mod or suchlike to see if you've recieved a payment from me as i've checked my paypal and it has no record of payment to 300zx club? I tried, a few weeks back, to do the £15 renewal, but it fudged up half way through and this thread just reminded me that i never logged back on to completed the transfer i think??? Can't remember who's idea this was (think it was MTL) but it worked a treat for me when i did mine the other day and that is to slide a piece of silicone hose (6mm?) over the first few mills on the top of the new plug then just slide the plug into position and twist away! It means theres no chance of cross threading the plug cause the hose just slips way before it does any damage. Top tip whoever it was! Pete

Had a good day today helped deliver these lil buggers First one was out at 11:00 and the last one was at 7:00 this eve (6 in all) And also managed to fit in a bit of work on the 300 :D Managed to get the PTU out and opened to see if it is that that is causing my non starting! Which it isnt :( but at least it's another thing checked! Now if only i hadn't given the old "tumble weed" up i could end the day on a real high!!!!!! :mac1: oh well, guess i'll have to settle for a couple :duffer: Just had to share! Pete
