We need an exact definition of 'sound' before you can get anywhere with this. One definition from Dictionary.com: "mechanical vibrations transmitted through an elastic medium" - going on this the answer would be Yes.

Am I right in thinking that the point of negative camber is that when your car leans as it goes round a corner, the outer tyres that are taking the weight, are then flat on the road, and therefore can provide more grip? If so, for those tyres to be flat on the road, the other side of the car would be about two foot in the air!

I was the passenger in the grey focus who helpfully watched as someone pushed you off the road! (you were half off the road when I realised what was going on to be fair)
