When I got my car I was expecting it to be a death trap in the wet from all I've read on here, but I can't get it to twitch. Not that I've tried specifically to lose it , but I have given it some in the wet and it's been fine. But maybe it's just my natural reaction to take it easier in the wet, as in any car.

My Zed has stopping locking centrally, but it still unlocks centrally. Any ideas what could be causing that? Phill

mine didn't work when got my car, it went up 6 inches and then stopped. I took it apart and found that the flexible toothed plastic strip thing had completely disintegrated.

So when your speedo reads 0mph, you're actually going backwards 2 mph;)

Would it be best then to polish them and keep them protected (without lacquer) rather than chroming them, which will eventually flake off?

I was thinking of getting mine polished when I've got a few more important things out of the way. Do you mind saying how much it cost in total? I assume the process involved a general refurb before polishing? Would you recommend getting it done, or do they not last (with or with out the special coating!)? Sorry lots of questions. Phill

Does anyone find that the first quarter tank goes disturbingly quickly, but then the next half tank goes much slower, then the last quarter drops really quickly again? Or is it just me?
