Anyone devised a quicker way of storing targas?
Interesting stuff. I was thinking more of something that would hold them without the need for bags, as getting them in the bag seems to be the hardest bit to me. As I say I've not given it much detailed thought yet, but was thinking of some sort of bracket/clip system that would obviously have to hold the two panels slighty apart so that they don't scratch. Probably won't be simple, but I do tend to like a challenge!

Anyone devised a quicker way of storing targas?
I decided to take the targas off yesterday. Absolutely loved it, so nice to be in the fresh air while being (surprisingly effectively) kept warm by the heater. The only thing was though, it's such a faff and takes so long to get the panels in the bags and then strapped down! I was wondering (as above) if anyone has devised anything to make it the process quicker? I haven't given it any detailed thought yet, but I can imagine some sort of clip system on the boot floor, possibly that can fold down under the boot floor when not in use, that would literally allow you to just 'slot' the panels in and hold them in place, and then away you go! I'm going to have a think about it when I start thinking about my sub/amp install, but has anyone done anything similar?

Midlands meet: Sunday 8th March 2009
Thanks for that guys, looks interesting. The only thing is the earliest I could get there on a Sunday would be about 12. But I guess as it's so close there's nothing lost if I just turn up and see if anyone's there. Possibly see you on the 22nd then!

Custom Boot Build
looks really good (or will do when you've hoovered your boot out!). That boot is definitely deeper than my LWB one, looks like mine would without the spare wheel/tool kit under the carpet. Where does the spare wheel go in a SWB?

(another) big thanks to Zedworld
Just got my car back from Zedworld after having a reasonable amount of work done. I have to say that they very much live up to the reputation they seem to have gained on here - they're obviously very knowledgeable when it come to the cars, and their customer service is absolutely first class. And on top of that they all seem to just be really genuine nice people (as opposed to 'nice' in a salesman sort of way). I highly recommend them.

mmm, think I'll have to give this one a miss, hopefully next time though if it's a bit nearer.

Custom Boot Build
how does it fit in the boot? I can't picture it, looks too tall. Looks nicely made though. A sub/system install is one of my next jobs, so very interested in how it all turns out.

BIG thanks to sussex stu(few pics)
Love your mini! I've got both, they're both brilliant in their own very different way. Just can't afford to run both at the same time unfortunately:( :

Midlands meet: Sunday 8th March 2009
I'd potentially like to come, never been to a meet before, but it depends on times and distance. What time will you be meeting (I'll be at church in the morning)? And for how long (maybe that I can come later on)? Which venue is furthest West (nearest Shropshire)? Phill

Bristol Hifi show
I guess it's probably not that big if you're not into Hifi at all, but it's the biggest hifi/home cinema show in the country. It's held in the Marriott hotel, you'd see big signs if you drove past it.

Bristol Hifi show
Can be, they tend to do some deals there, but they hardly turn kidney value type prices into affordable ones! You're usually talking 10 or so percent off. Ditch the valves though, you want a Naim Audio amp! I'm a huge Naim audio fan, was the best sound at the show by miles.

Bristol Hifi show
Anyone here go or going to the Bristol Hifi show? I went yesterday, drove down in the Zed, was great (the drive and the show!). Are there many people here interested in Hifi/Home cinema? It's what I do for a job, and is one of my other great passions (aside from the Zed obviously)

Silver Zed in Hereford
Saw a silver one parked outside Farm Foods in Hereford, when I was driving through yesterday evening.

What would be the one thing you would upgrade on a 300zx
Would be changing the standard (89-94) spoiler for me, the thing that most dates the car IMO. The car needs the 99 spec. I'm surprised I've not seen this mentioned before, I think it's absolutely terrible, especially the beam/dim action, my fingers just slip off it, if you're driving fast at night it's just a complete pain!

Welcome to Bristol!
Si, you really make me laugh sometimes, I've never met you, but I can just imagine what what sort of person you are! There was a windows version 3.11, it was the last main one before 95
